Thank god Alaric is finally here. I don't know what I would've done if we had to spend an entire class period just reading from the textbook and taking notes about the town. Seriously! Couldn't they at least have us read history about the rest of this world and not this town?!
After intently paying attention to a class for once, I packed up my bag and headed out to my car. I got out to the parking lot when I noticed Bonnie looking around frantically. Ah, she must be trying to avoid a persistent Damon.
Suddenly her eyes fell on me and made a beeline for me. Oh god, please don't put me in the middle of this Bonnie.
"Hey Mari!" She greets me, panting a bit.
"Hi Bonnie! You may want to take up jogging as a hobby if that's' all the physical activity your body will handle. Plus - according to books - a healthy witch is a more powerful witch." I tell her with a chuckle, pretending not to notice what's happening between her and Damon.
She chuckles. "I'll keep that in mind."
Damon came up behind her and looked straight at me with his infamous smirk plastered onto his face. Bonnie turns around to look at him with a fierce glare. Somehow having a 15 year-old girl at her side gave her the courage to stand up to the unstable vampire.
"Damon, leave me alone. You cannot have the necklace. I won't give it to you, so suck it up." Bonnie tells him fiercely. Go Bonnie!
"Yeah, but it's mine and I want it back." Damon argues back angrily. And to think these two became best friends in the later seasons of the show. I smiled lightly at the situation which immediately caught Damon's attention.
"And, why are you smiling?" He asked me with narrowed eyes.
I chucked. "I think you have bigger things to worry about than my facial expression, Damon."
Damon openly glared at me before answering. "You're right, so why don't you leave. Bonnie and I have some private things to talk about."
"Bonnie, do you want me to leave?" I ask her, deciding I didn't give a damn about the consequences. There was no way in hell I would let him think he could get away with being a dick to me.
Bonnie vehemently shook her head from side to side. Terrified by the idea of being alone with Damon.
"Then I won't leave." I say with a triumphant smile, my eyes shining with mischief. Damon was practically shaking with anger. Boy, am I going to be in for it. I should probably sleep at the safe house tonight. And every night til the tomb is opened.
He tried to intimidate me with a glare but I just met his gaze, with an unfazed look on my face. Suddenly Damon's face morphs from anger to a threatening smirk.
