I decided to spend the day reading all of the research I found, knowing I needed to start learning more about all of these things.

I'd choose reading over dealing with vampire Vicki any day. Even though I didn't mind Vicki and felt bad for the girl, I couldn't bring myself to save her. I did not want my memories to be erased alongside Jeremy's. I knew if the real Marilyn found out, she would never forgive Elena. Ever. That girl from what I read in her diary can hold a grudge if she's motivated to do so. Elena would likely be in the doghouse for life. Besides, I like Jeremy and Anna better as a couple.

I hadn't really learned anything new about the originals or the Sun and Moon curse from the books, besides what the "Scooby Gang" was able to find out, but I did find some other interesting information.

I learned a little bit more about werewolf culture; not very important but interesting. And I learned of a ring that could be made that has the ability to strengthen a human to be nearly as powerful as a vampire with added healing abilities.

I read that the ring has to be spelled by a witch and shouldn't have any negative effects on humans, if they use a moonstone as the jem and the wearer makes sure that the stone is exposed to moonlight.

That could be very useful, after weighing my options I decided to try and make the drive all the way down to Chicago in order to make a deal with the most powerful witch I can think of that's alive, Gloria.

Neither of my siblings would be at school either so Elena couldn't scold me for missing classes.

Before heading back home, I went to a mall 2 hours away and bought a ring that Gloria could spell for me.

I then went home and started to make salisbury steak for dinner. Jeremy came downstairs, having smelt the food, and asked if he could help so I put him in charge of the mash potatoes and beans.

The two of us ate together at the dining room table, telling each other funny stories in hopes of making the other spit out their drink. Juvenile? Maybe.

I excused myself to go upstairs though, when Vicki came over. I got dressed for my self defense class and waited til I knew Vicki was gone to leave.

I went downstairs and was met with my siblings. Jeremy debates whether or not to call Matt to see if he's found her and Elena is there trying to console him. The doorbell rings, cutting off Elena's pathetic condolences.

I opened the door and was greeted by Damon. Elena saw who was at the door and narrowed her eyes at him.

"Jeremy, Marilyn, go upstairs now." Elena ordered and Jeremy went upstairs without complaint after firing a confused look at her.

"Actually Elena, I was just heading out. I'll see you later. Bye Damon." I say awkwardly, squeezing past him.

The next morning I rushed out of the house, so I wouldn't be questioned by a paranoid Elena and made the long drive to Chicago.
