After Stefan had asked me for advice about the Katherine-picture-situation, leaving out all of the supernatural details, he and Elena patched things up. And thankfully, but surprisingly, Damon had respected my wishes and didn't tell Elena or Stefan about my knowledge of the supernatural.

Jeremy managed to surprise me by adding something to my to do list. He had asked me before leaving the house one morning if I'd stop by the grill at lunch time to meet Anna which I immediately agreed to. I was glad that Jeremy thought so highly of me to want to introduce her even though they aren't dating. Plus, I liked Anna even though she was just using Jeremy at the moment. The meeting had gone very well, and I was very satisfied with it. I even saw Bonnie meet the new bartender who I assumed was Anna's replacement for Ben.

After that not much happened, just Alaric introducing himself to Damon and the Salvatore's killing Elena's stalker. Events I chose to stay far away from, much to Caroline's dismay. I had to promise her a sleep over, a cheesy rom-com, and a trip to them mall in order to earn her forgiveness.

All was quiet for the most part in my life right now and I was glad to have some down time. I sat at the bay window room in my pajamas, reading a murder mystery book, when I heard a whooshing sound.

Really, Damon?? "What do you want Damon?" I asked with a bored tone, not bothering to look up from my book.

"How did you know it was me?" Damon asked me, vamping himself onto my bed.

"There are only two vampires with access to this house, you and your brother. Stefan, doesn't know that I know, so, why would he be vamping around my room?" I tell him as I turn to the next page in my book.

"Cute pjs, by the way." Damon comments causing me to glare at him.

"Again, what do you want Damon?" I ask again.

"What makes you think I'm not just here to see you?" He asks and I actually look up at him with an 'are-you-serious' look on my face.

"Alright, I need a favor." He tells me.

"Of course you, do." I mutter as I put my book down and sit up straight.

"Well...what is it?" I inquire tiredly.

"Emily's grimoire. Its location is supposedly written in your ancestor's journal and I need you to get it for me." Damon tells me.

"And why can't Elena do it?" I ask him.

He sighs. "Even though my brother claims he wants to help me, I don't trust him. And she's his girlfriend ergo..." Damon trails off at the end.

"Alright, I'll get it in the morning and call you when I have it." I tell him standing up and moving towards the bed.

"Now, go. I'd like to get some sleep." I tell him.

"Rude." He states, but does as I asked.

"I look forward to seeing you tomorrow, Ms. Gilbert." He tells me as I climb into bed.
