duo as behind eggman was his entire egg empire armada going through a green chaos portal to los angela, sonic and knuckles see this
and eggman just smirks knowinghe has the upperhand at the two before him.
EMPEROR ROBOTNIK: well,well,well, look who's here to see me finally acheive my goals!
SONIC: *crosses arms* sorry egghead but that's not gonna happen not once, not ever!
KNUCKLES: *punches fists together* sonic's right eggman you can fight with cowardlyor surrender with
your dignity intact!
EMPEROR ROBOTNIK: *laughs mockingly* you really think you can beat universeal being like me?!! you more foolish
then i thought!! i can destroy you two by just disintegrating your atoms into nothingness with just my hand of energy!!!
SONIC: *raises brow* then why not do it already i mean their would be no one to stop you?

sonic and knuckles go full power and jump at eggman as they quickley send a kick/punch to eggman, but with a whoosh
of eggman's fingers sonic and knuckles froze in place their kick and punch inches away from eggman's face as he smirked
and laughed at the two as green outlines surrounded their bodies.
EMPEROR ROBOTNIK: you really think i'm gonna waste my time with you then your wrong!
eggman turns around while flying towards the green chaos portal he created and before he went through he released both
sonic and knuckles and landed on the platform that is beneath them.
EMPEROR ROBOTNIK: i'll let mecha deal with you two. hehehahahaa!! *goes through the protal with his whole armada*
SONIC: wait mecha sonic? i thought we shut that nuts of bolts down?
suddenly mecha sonic lands on the platform with knuckles and sonic on it as it sent a shockwave at sonic at knuckles
making them get sent hitting the ground but they get back up to see mecha staring at them still damaged after the first fight
with the two.
MECHA SONIC: i..will not fail...my master.
SONIC: wow you can talk? huh, neat. look uh mecha you look like you can't fight anymore
so just let us through to stop eggman and we'll be on our way. *open arms and smiles* so what do you say?
MECHA SONIC: you can't beat eggman without being at the same level as him and the answers is..NO!!
SONIC: *sighs* welp i tried convincing you. *battles stance*
KNUCKLES: *battle stance* you can't beat us in this state mecha! just walk away from this you have already
proven you're a capable warrior!
