[POV Lancel]
The next day, my mother gave me a lesson; I had never seen her so angry. Afterward, she locked herself in her room, and I could hear her crying. My father saw everything before he left. I will never forget the look he had when he saw my mother angry; he looked scared, although I experienced that fear firsthand.
That's when I understood the saying, "I hit you because I love you."
My mother came out of the room after an hour, and I saw my opportunity to apologize while my sister Lisa was laughing, watching me rub where tears were coming out.
"Mother, forgive me. It won't happen again," I say with a firm look.
"I know, and if it does happen again, it will be worse," my mother said to me, holding the scabbard of the sword high.
After breakfast, she went to work, and I saw the opportunity to practice with Lisa.
"Lisa, let's practice for a while," I say to my sister, taking the wooden swords from under my bed.
"Sure, I still see you're in pain," Lisa says, laughing.
"Still, I might beat you," I say, laughing too.
The system has been in hibernation since the spiritual sense was installed in my body. It said it would wait until I turn four to choose the last power, but it didn't give me any more details.
"Four months away from my birthday, there is news of the first battle of the Usurper's War, which they named (Battle of Seagull Port). It won't be long before there is news of the Battle of Summerhall Refuge. I have been anxious for my sword. This time, it is taking my father longer to finish the sword," I thought.
There are three months left until my birthday, and it will be time to go look for Oberyn Martell. If I want to gain his trust, I must help save Elia Martell, but I have to think very carefully about what to say when I find him.
In the evening...
After greeting my mother when I arrived home, I anxiously stayed at the entrance waiting to see my father arrive, as he told me today he would finish my sword. After a while, I see him coming.
"Good evening, Father," I say, eager to see the sword.
"So, you're waiting for the sword. I'm sorry, but I'll give it to you with your mother present. I don't want any problems with her, hahaha," Robert says, laughing and with a hand on his neck.
I had no choice but to wait until we finished dinner and see what I would tell my mother to convince her....
After dinner...
"Mary, I made a sword for our son," Robert says, showing the steel sword without an edge, half a meter long.
"Why did you make him a sword? Look, he could hurt himself," my mother says angrily.
"Have you heard about the war that is happening? I hope that if they send us, at least you have someone to defend them. Besides, it's a blunt sword," Robert says, showing her that the sword does not cut at its edges.
"Okay, but if he hurts himself, you'll pay for it," my mother says, not accepting further discussions.
Robert handed me the sword and whispered in my ear that I should tell my sister she would have one at the beginning of the following year.
My sister looked fascinated by my sword, with traces of envy. I approached her and whispered what my father had told me. Upon hearing this, she rejoiced and hugged me.
[POV Lisa]
During this month, my brother lets me use the sword when our parents are not at home. At first, it was hard for me to get used to the weight and to balance the sword, but I am getting used to it.
We continue practicing with wooden swords to avoid getting hurt by mistake, as my brother told me that even though it is blunt, the tip of the sword could cause a wound. I still remember the promise my brother made to me and that I will accept a request; I am keeping it for when I need it, hehehe.
"Don't get distracted," my brother says, frowning.
"Hehehe, sure," I say with a smile. 'He's always serious even during training,' I thought, looking at his concentration.
[POV Lancel]
Now there are two months left, and there are already news of the Battle of Summerhall Refuge, where Robert Baratheon won three battles on the same day. If the news is reaching this distant place, then at least fifteen days have passed. I don't know why I feel like the battles are happening very quickly; I hope I have time to execute my plans.
The following month, there is news of the Battle of Ashford Ford, in which Robert Baratheon withdrew from Storm's End and set out to march north to meet his allies. This event marks the beginning of the siege of Storm's End by the Tyrells against Stannis Baratheon....
Early 283 AC ...
<The host can start figuring out how to use the last two powers and will have the opportunity to choose one more power since he endured the pain of these three stages. It is recommended that the host maintain the balance of this world with what he is going to ask for.>
'I want to have the power to leave a mark on any object or person and be able to move instantly to that place and move an object toward that mark,' I ask happily for having an extra power. 'Clearly, I'm thinking of Minato's jutsu, which would be very convenient in this world.'
<This power will be granted to you, but there are restrictions>
'What are the restrictions?' I ask intrigued.
<You can only use it twice a day, and your stamina will be halved for a single use>.
'That is a problem, but as long as I can use it, it will be fine as long as I don't abuse that power,' I thought.
'What happens if I use it twice in a row?' I ask with doubts.
<On the second use, the host will be unable to move, or in the worst case, will faint for a day>
'Alright, I want that power,' I say, satisfied with the restriction.
<You can use it at any time; the system will be the intermediary through which you will use this power>
'That sounds good; I won't have to experience more pain to use a power after the update, hahaha, damn System,' I thought.
<From now on, what would you prefer to be in this world? Hero? Villain? Anti-hero?> asking consecutive questions.
'I'll be an anti-hero,' I tell the System. 'That's what I consider myself since I started working in SWAT.' I thought.
