[Oberyn's POV]

After six months, the progress shown by Lancel is incredible, although he lacks strength, he complements everything with his speed and strategy in combat.

Oberyn "We should increase your strength, and increase the level of combat" I tell him with a sadistic smile, after seeing him almost every day with bruises on his body

Lancel "At least I lasted longer in combat than before" he says with a pitiful look

Oberyn "I got you an armor of your size with a weight of 22 Kilograms" I tell him while I show him the armor

Lancel "You want to shorten the time it takes to beat me up" he says with a raised eyebrow

Oberyn "Partly it is" I tell him letting out a laugh

Lancel put on his armor and the weight makes it more difficult for him to perform movements with the spear, but seeing that he is still breathing normally, it occurred to me to increase the weight of the spear

 Oberyn "Guard, bring a blunt iron spear" I say to the guard and then Lancel turns to look at me

 Lancel "Don't tell me it's for me" he says with a sad look

Oberyn "That's right" I say with an evil look

 
[Lancel POV]

 For five months, Oberyn makes me train with weight on my body and weight on the Spear, as I get used to the weight, I go back to the level I had of lasting a full hour against Oberyn without getting hurt

 
Oberyn "We are almost in the year 284 a.C., You are about to finish a part of your training." he says with a sigh

 
Lancel "Yes, the torture is almost over" I say looking at him with desire for revenge

 
Oberyn "Take off that look, you still need to give me the beating you saw in your vision" he says mocking me

 
Lancel "When I'm 10 years old it will be your defeat" I tell him with a haughty look

 
Oberyn "Well, it's time to continue with the beating" he says while attacking me

[third person POV]

The next day

Oberyn "Today you will fight without armor and without the iron spear" tells Lancel to get ready

 Lancel takes off his armor and puts down the iron spear and picks up the wooden spear.

 Oberyn "Let's begin" he says with the maximum concentration

 Hearing this, Lancel approaches and sends a thrust to his abdomen, Oberyn blocks the spear to the right side and slides his spear towards Lancel's head.

 Lancel crouches down and leans on his spear to back up and start a new sweep attack at Oberyn's feet.

 
Oberyn jumps to the side, as Lancel's spear goes down and up towards Oberyn's body.

 
Oberyn attacks with five quick thrusts to Lancel's body, when Lancel sees the attacks, he blocks them and dodges fluidly, backs up and takes a defensive position, because the distance Oberyn keeps it makes it difficult for him to attack it more accurately.

 
Oberyn observes Lancel's improvement in speed and strength, and feels that in a few more years he will surpass him in this fighting art.

 
Oberyn attacks with a feint and leg swings from right to left and sweeps the spear at Lancel's legs.

 
Lancel jumps, and in the air he notices that it is a feint, because the next moment he sees a spear approaching his abdomen, in the air he takes the spear with both hands and hits it with the tip of Oberyn's spear to propel himself higher, and throws his spear at Oberyn

 
Oberyn sees this and drops to the ground to avoid being hit in the chest, for the first time during training he has to be on the ground to avoid a punch from Lancel.

 
Oberyn stands up and attacks Lancel who is unarmed, seeing this Lancel dodges the first thrust and surrounds Oberyn's body to run towards his spear without taking his eyes off Oberyn in case he throws the spear at him

 
Lancel takes the spear and continues to dodge and block Oberyn's spear blows, each time the tip of both spears is more splintered by the blows they give each other.

 
Seeing this Oberyn asks the guard to change their spears for new ones to continue their training, they rest for an hour and continue for a while until Lancel gets tired and suffers a beating again.

 
Oberyn "You have improved, now you make me sweat to beat you" he says wiping the sweat on his face

 
Lancel "That... seems..." he tells him between gasps.

 
At the end of the year 283 a.C.

 
While in King's Landing the war fleets are ready to go to the island of Dragonstone to eliminate the last descendants of the Targaryen house

 
On the island of Dragonstone was Queen Rhaella in her last days of pregnancy, accompanied by Prince Viserys Targaryen. Ser Willem the last loyal royal guard to the Targaryen house. For Ser Arthur was recovering from injuries sustained in the battle at the Tower of Joy. Finishing his training, Lancel sets out to buy a trip to Dragonstone Island in order to meet Prince Viserys and deliver money sent by Oberyn, convincing Oberyn to give the Prince 100 gold and 15 coins to pay for the same ship that took them to King's Landing

 
Lancel "Master, train Princess Rhaenys, I told her you were going to train her" he said looking at the last blow to his forearm he received in training against Oberyn

 
Oberyn "I will start his training tomorrow" he says; "Are you sure you will meet Prince Viserys?" ask for his safety

 
Lancel "I still have to go" he says remembering that Prince Viserys mistreated Daenerys when she was little

 
Oberyn "Okay, take care, I'm still waiting to see if your vision of you beating me up comes true" he says laughing

 
Lancel "It will be fulfilled, and I will train so that the vision will not take long to be fulfilled" he says laughing too

 
The next morning he gets on the boat and sets sail for Dragonstone, the forecast arrival according to the captain is a day or two if the weather and currents allow it.

 
During the trip he thinks about what to do, whether to help them escape before or after the battle in Dragonstone, at least he knows that this ship can withstand a storm at sea.
