Chapter Seventeen: Bloody Stream

Sadao sighs after Kiba fell behind. 'Now it's the three of us..."

Naruto smirks. "Don't worry about such things. Choji, Neji and Kiba will catch up right away. Choji had the trump card. And I've fought Neji in the Chunin Exam, so I know....

Sadao smirks in response to Naruto's optimism. "Know what?"

"That he's... a true Genius, believe it." The group on their path rush to catch up with the remaining two.

Geez... it's already approaching sundown... We're close." Sadao mutters.

"There are two enemies left. There are three of us ... it's three against two. We might be able to do it with one more contact if we do it well." Shikamaru says.

Naruto grins. 'All right! All right! Let's do it!"

Sadao glances back. 'Shikamaru! What's your strategy for this one?"

"Yeah. For this purpose, we have to catch up with them before the sun sets at any cost."

Sadao turns forward. "Yeah! All the way!" As the sun descends the team all start to keep their pace staying just far enough to avoid them. But still able to track them.

Sadao glances back. "So, what do we do, Shikamaru?"

Shikamaru sighs. "We wait until daybreak."

Sadao sighs. "Right."

Naruto turns back. 'What?!"

Sadao turns back forward slowing slightly to get closer to Naruto. "If we attack now, they'll have the advantage. We wait until the shadows are useful to use."

Naruto sighs. "Alright." They continue until daybreak. As they finally catch up with the rapidly rising sun.

Naruto smirks. "We caught up!"

"All Right! I'll take care of this nice and quick!" The person with two of each limb turns back to Naruto.

Naruto leans back. "R-Right away?!"

Sadao grins. 'Not on my watch! Fire Style! Bomb Blast Dance!" He is able to get around and defeats Shikamaru and Sadao before blocking the Rasengan as it's revealed that their all clones. Sadao drives his sword forward through and aims for the girl as Shikamaru catches her with his shadow paralysis. The trio are able to make their way through as Sadao grabs the container and tosses it to Naruto.

Naruto grins. "Nice! Sadao, Shikamaru!"

Sadao nods. "Shikamaru! Let's move!"

Shikamaru nods back. "Yeah!"

"Plan went well, now we just have to make it back." The trio start to jump away before Sadao turns suddenly. "Enemy inbound! Damn, he's fast. Heh. The clones did their jobs well enough though. Let's go!"

"Messing with me."

"I got him! Go without me!" He jumps back and kicks the guy back as a paper bomb goes off sending the duo down a ravine.

Sadao growls as he falls. "Damn it! Wind Style! Gale Palm!" He sends the pressurized air towards the ground slowing his fall as he watches the other fall at a faster rate. When they hit the ground he lands on his feet watching the other roll down. "Tch. You'll be tougher to beat than I would hope."

Well, your definitely the strongest. Being able to catch me like that. I'll give you my name for it. Sakon."

Sadao takes off his jacket wrapping it around his waist. "Sakon, Huh. I'm sure Karin would like that name. Well then, shall we get started?"

Sakon grins. "Yeah." Sadao dashes forward using his speed to get behind Sakon thinking he'd gained the upper hand when he's kicked away sent towards a nearby body of water where he lands on his feet pulling out three scrolls making the ram seal. "Release!"
