Chapter 25: Run

Sadao after a few days of traveling arrives at the base of mount Okame where upon arriving he sees a wolf standing there staring him down. He takes a step forward causing the wolf to growl its eyes glowing a bright red reflecting his own. Sadao in response to seeing the wolf smirks as he activates his Sharingan. The wolf taking note bows it's head Sadao nods and begins walking forward preparing for his mission.

Sadao stands at the foot of the mountain a wolf in front of him it's head bowing to him, he walks forward following the trail he continues on the path seeing more and more wolves he continues moving up the mountain as he begins to see statues of wolves as he continues he deactivates his Sharingan upon reaching a peak in the path as he looks forward seeing a wall there her steps forward and places a hand on the wall following it along when he presses on the wall and suddenly falls forward. He opens his eyes seeing a bright glowing light when it settles down and he looks around seeing different wolves of varying sizes when a regular-sized wolf approaches he glances down before smiling and kneeling down he extends a hand and the wolf bows and rubs against Sadao's palm.

"Hey there little buddy." He kneels patting the wolf's head, before glancing around the area. He stands. "Where am I?"

"Why'd you stop?"

"Huh?" He looks around wondering where the voice came from when he feels the wolf rub its head against his leg. He looks back to the Wolf with a hum. "Did you say something?"

"Yeah, I did."

"Y-You're talking... Huh?!"

"I thought this would've gone better." The fox sighs before tugging on Sadao's jacket dragging the bow along with it. "Come on, someone wants to meet you."

Sadao stalls for a moment before following the wolf being very wary of the environment. He follows the wolf until he turns a corner into an area seeing many wolfs walking around and lounging together. When a larger wolf comes strutting up and stares him down.

"He's here." The wolf walking with Sadao says bowing to the larger wolf.

"Thank you, Talon. You can go now." Talon nods before running off as the large wolf signals for him to follow her.

"So this is the secret of Mount Okame?" Sadao mutters.

"Yes, this place is protected by a barrier that can only be broken by those who have the Sharingan. Your father was the fourth person to discover the place, Sadao. You are now the sixth."

"Sixth? Who was fifth?"

"Of course, the first to discover the cave was the first in your family line. Your great-great-grandmother, Seki Uchiha, followed by her son, Hikaru Uchita. The fifth person to discover these caves was one of your teachers Noda Isao."

Sadao glances around. "Wait, but you just said that you need a Sharingan to break the barrier and enter this place? How could Noda-Sensei find it if he doesn't have a Sharingan?"

The wolf hums with a small smile, through Sadao, looking into her eye sees a hint of sadness. "So, Noda hasn't told you his secret yet. I won't divulge that information, that's his to tell."

"Okay. May I have your name?"

"Kagune. You've met my son before, haven't you? His name is Yatimo."

Sadao nods. "Yeah, father introduced me when I was ten. I never saw him again."

"Well, the person who asked for you found this in your old house. It's a scroll from your father that's to request that either you or your siblings be brought here. We sent wolves to contact your brother in the town of Kurisato."
