Chapter 27: EAT

"Oh, by the way, you leaf ninja. You bury your dead, or what? Because it'll be a real hassle if you do. Knowing Kakazu, he'll totally want us to go digging for that cash cow of his. It was already a downer, though. Seriously, that guy with the beard went down like he was nothing, you know? Where the hell was the fun in that, huh?" He looks down seeing one of his fingers missing before he spots it on the floor. "How'd that happen?"

"I don't know, maybe I might know. Or, I may not. So which one of you was it that killed Asuma?" A voice shouts from above.

"Another one?" Hidan looks up to the person, their red eyes glowing brightly.

"Ah, the boy." Kakazu glares, the persons black hair blowing in the wind, a sword attached to his waist.

Ju Ichi huffs. "It's about time... Sadao."

"Well, I had to get here sooner or later. Still, who killed Asuma."

Hidan grins. "That would be me."

"Big talk coming from the man who got his head chopped off."

"Kakazu! Shut the hell up! So anyway, I know you're looking for revenge, but I think you're all out of your league here. Most of you are just pups. You must've been his students. Well, with a loser like that guy teaching you, you're pretty much screwed. Gah!" Hidan is suddenly and violently sent flying backward by Noda kicking him in the midsection sending him into a nearby tree trunk.

Noda scoffs. "I've heard enough out of you."

Sadao jumps down blocking an attack from Kakazu his eyes glowing with a mild yellow as Ju Ichi comes running forward the duo fighting Kakazu off as the others retreat to re-strategize before the pair dodge an attack and hit Kakazu back into Hidan while Anzu joins the others. Shikamaru starts walking forward alone with the others all standing behind him. Sadao closes his eyes as Noda and Kakashi both rush for Kakazu as Shikamaru goes for Hidan once he captures Hidan he, Choji and Ino run off with Hidan leaving Kakazu alone with the rest.

"Wasn't wise for those kids to go off alone. They've underestimated Hidan. He did show a lot of promise, though. He'd have commanded quite a bounty down the line. But today those three die. However, you were correct about one thing.  I am strong. The gap between our respective battle experience is vast. Those headbands you're all wearing remind me of the very first leaf Shinobi I ever faced off against. The First Hokage."

Eijiro grins. "Ha! You against the first Hokage? Don't make me laugh. You're mid at best. Hashirama Senju is way out of your league boy."

"Just how old is this guy." Anzu asks.

"So you are immortal?" Kakashi asks.

"No... there's no such thing in this world. I've just managed to prolong my life by stealing and stocking up on others' hearts before mine can stop from old age." The group watch as the fire and wind style masks begin to merge as Sadao opens his eyes standing next to Noda and Anzu.

"Are you two ready?" He asks.

Anzu nods. "Sure."

"Yeah."

"Water Style! Grand Water Dragon!"
"Water Style! Great Water Wave!"

The Uchiha siblings counter the attack.

"Earth Style! Grand Mud Palace!" Noda defends his allies. The combined Jutsu's force the fire and wind mixture back as Sadao turns swiftly only to be grabbed by Kakazu who attempts to stab him in the chest when Kakashi kicks him back and Ju Ichi runs forward alongside Noda to stall the creatures when Kakazu grabs at his own chest.

"That's not possible."

"That's where you're wrong. That ritual of your partners? Sorry to tell you this. He used your blood for it." Kakazu the collapses forward on his stomach allowing Sadao to recover. "It can't be. When could you have possibly had the chance?"
