It was now the next day, and izuku was finally being allowed to leave the hospital. Granted yes he only had to wait a day, he had been in the hospital for over a week and subconsciously craving the comfort that came with soft blankets that he had grown attached to.

No one wanted to stay home. Katsuki had forced aizawa to let him tag along, and they had thought it would be a good idea especially if izuku was still non-verbal. Katsuki had experience considering he knew izuku when they were kids- even though they had grown up and his greenette was completely different, he had noticed izuku still carried quite a few of his childhood traits.

Some of the traits were just izuku being izuku, some of them katsuki wished he'd grown out of - like this one.

They were all worried that everyone crammed into a car and hospital room would be too much for izuku, so after some debate - hitoshi decided that he would stay at shotos house for the night and katsuki would sleep at the aizawas.

Shoto made an interesting point, having listened to what katsuki told them about izuku the night prior. Izuku used to go mute when they were younger and would stay with katsuki - the loud blonde being the one who would always get the greenette talking again - and not communicate with anyone.

Satan only knows what it was like for izuku at home. They all had a rough idea, katsuki seeing it more when they were kids and aizawa looking into family history and medical records.

When the two finally arrived at the hospital after dropping hitoshi at shotos it was 10.30am. They all walked relatively quickly inside. Aizawa went to the front desk to go through getting izuku discharged and katsuki immediately made his way to izukus room.

He opened the door, seeing the greenette boy turned over in the bed while hizashi was sitting in one of the two hospital chairs, watching the TV on the wall opposite to izukus bed.

The hero instantly noticed the loud blonde and gave his usual joyful smile. The man was wearing glasses and had his long hair down, almost reaching past his butt.

"hes awake, just not talking" hizashi informed, motioning katsuki to go up to the boy.

Katsuki nodded in thanks and walked around to the other side of the bed where izuku was facing. He crouched down, lowering himself to be at eye level with the smaller boy.

"hey nerd, you feeling any better?" katsuki asks softly. Of course he didnt recieve a response, only being looked at by dull green eyes and a blank expression.

"do you remember how you used to do this when we were kids? it was because of the stupid bastard, but hes not here so why now?" katsuki questions non-threateningly.

Again he didnt recieve an answer. He just sighed and told izuku to get up and move over on the bed so he could sit with him.

Soon enough aizawa walked in, looking annoyed and ready to leave.

"you're fine to be discharged as long as you doctor has given you the all clear, which it seems he has" aizawa mutters out with an irritated scoff.

"whats wrong sho? you seem annoyed baby" hizashi cooed lovingly.

Katsuki gagged and aizawa glared at him.

"stupid lady i was speaking to made it so god damn difficult. wouldnt listen to a fucking thing i was saying. doesnt matter. did the doctor actually give izuku the all clear?" aizawa sighs while hizashi rubs his back.
