A gentle breeze blew softly through the room. The light zephyr bringing with it the smell of the night blooming flowers that had always filled Asgard. The same breeze, the same odour that would always make its way into Loki's room, their room, when they were together. When they would make love all night long and shake the nine realms to their core.
"Do you miss it.............?" Loki enquired softly, as he held (Y/n) in his arms. The God of Mischief having no desire to let his lover go, as his body still shook from his exquisite high. A high that only (Y/n) could truly cause in him.
"Do you miss Asgard..................?"
"There are certain things that I miss. I miss the breathtaking sight of the city. I miss the view of the beautiful buildings and elaborate spires. I miss the statues and towering columns. The pyramids and sweeping terraces. I miss seeing Valhalla and the Bifrost Bridge. I miss being able to sneak into Odin's Vault without the old man knowing. I miss Heimdall and the conversations that we would have. And I miss Frigga. For if it wasn't for her love for me, I am sure that Odin would gladly have seen me dead instead of banished. Yet even through my darkest days in Helheim, as I tried to do my best to give some warmth to all those lost souls, there were really only two things that I missed. And that was Thor and you, my heart. It was one thing being sent to Hel's kingdom, but being there without you, was like dying myself. For a long time, I didn't care about anything. I gave up hope. The idea of never seeing you again. Never seeing Thor again, it was as if I couldn't breathe. As if Odin had taken out my heart and placed it in his vault. Leaving me as little more than an empty shell. Yet then I realised that that wasn't me. That if I just lay there and died, Odin would win, and I couldn't have that. That I really would never get to see you again. So, I did my best to become the biggest thorn in Hel's side that I could. To continue to be me, in hopes that one day, I would find myself back in your arms. Back with my heart." (Y/n) explained, smiling up at her husband, as he propped himself up on his elbow and looked down at her. The daughter of the feared fire giant delicately brushing her thumb across his cheek bone. Loosing herself in his beautiful eyes.
As much as she had always loved Thor. As much as his strong embrace had always made her feel safe and wanted. As much as he had always been there for her and been able to make her smile. There had always been something about Loki that had spoken to something deep inside her. Always been something that said that he needed her more than Thor did. And now that she had been told what he really was, she could understand it. They were two of a kind. Two sides of the same coin. In theory, they should destroy one another. That fire should not mix with ice. Yet the reverse had always been true. And she couldn't help but feel closer to him now than she had ever been.
"Show me again.........." The goddess said softly. Smiling as Loki furrowed his brows.
"I want to see you. I want to see the real you again." She continued. The God of Mischief needing no more prompting from his bride. Loki happy to do anything to see his heart smile. His skin slowly changing from its normal pale tone, to one of the most beautiful blue. The air around the pair growing cold as he completed his transformation.
"I swear that you are the most exquisite creature that I have ever seen, my love." (Y/n) hummed, as she brushed her fingers through his raven hair. The smell of sulphur filling the room, as she herself began to change. Her skin beginning to glow with fire. Her eyes, just like Loki's turning red. Her flames dancing around the body of her lover, yet not a single one dare to burn him.
"It is you my queen, that is the most exquisite of creatures. Promise me that you will never leave me again. That you will always remain by my side..........." Loki replied. The God of Mischief not for one moment fearing the burning touch of his bride. It not being the first time that she had showed him what she really was. Not the first time that she had lost herself in him. Forgetting about her own powers and abilities as they had enjoyed one another's body. But fearing that he would once again lose this happiness that she had brought back to him. That he would become a shell of himself again, if she were ever to disappear from his life once more.
"I will never leave you, my love. There is nothing and no one that will ever take me away from you again. Not even Odin himself." The fiery goddess promised. Pulling Loki to her and kissing him softly.
"You know. I think that we have just enough time to write another chapter of that story, before we have to join Thor and the others for dinner." (Y/n) chuckled. Loki smiling, as he pulled the covers over them. The sounds of lust filled moans, once again filling the heavy, sweet scent laden air.
