Boyfriend

Jonathan's POV:

"HAPPY NEW YEARS!!" We shouted. My brother, Will, hugged my mom and she hugged me. "Oh, I love you guys so much!!" My sister, Nancy, sat on our couch giggling at her phone.

"What happened?" I asked walking towards her. "Nothing!" She said and turned off her phone. I turned around and just let it pass.

"Soo?? Start of a new year and I'm tired so good night!"

I watched my brother leave and enter his room. I stayed up a bit longer than the others. Mom thought I was asleep. So did Nancy.

'Now what?' I thought.

I found a beer in the fridge but I didn't grab it. Instead, something else caught my attention.

Nancy's phone was on the kitchen counter.

I looked around to see if anyone had been watching me. 'Worth a shot' I grabbed her phone and I heard something fall on the floor.

I shoved her phone into my pocket and turned around in time to see my brother rubbing his eyes.

"Dude, what are you doing still up?"

"N-Nothing, I just woke up to get a glass of water." I said. "Oh." He said and just left. I sighed and walked to my room and fell asleep.

The next day I woke up with a headache. I checked my phone and groaned.

'10:35..'

I shot up from bed as I heard my phone ring.
'Shit, I'm late!!'

I quickly got dressed and answered my phone as soon as I entered the car.

"Y-yeah?" I said panting.

"Dude..where are you?!" I heard Argyle say. "I slept in, sorry! I'm on my way now, what period do we have now?"

"Well, we have break right now, but after this is 4th period I guess."

"Right..yeah. I'm on my way, bye.." I said and hung up.

I finally entered the building to see Argyle running towards me."There you are!" He said and I laughed. "Yep." I said. "So fourth period?" He nodded and wrapped his arm around my neck.

After class was our lunch break.

"So where do you wanna get food?" Argyle asked and I shrugged. "I don't know, I was thinking pizza."

"Yeah!! I want you to try," He said, stopping midway, and stomped his feet on the ground repeatedly.
"Pineapple pizza!"

I looked at him. "Ew no way!!" I exclaimed laughing. "Come on bro! It's gooood!"

I rolled my eyes and ran towards my car. "Hurry up Argyle! We only have an hour for lunch! The nearest pizza place is like 20 to 30 minutes away!"

He hopped in and I started the engine.

A few minutes into the drive, Argyle started messing with the radio.

I looked over at him and he continued playing with the radio. "Watcha doin'?
"Finding a song. That's what I'm doing."

"Alright, carry on then."

After a long drive with Argyle singing/screaming along to some random rap we arrived. I parked and got out.

"Oi, hurry up dude! We have 35 minutes left, at the MOST."

"Pineapple pizza!"
"Ew no!!"
"Try it!"
"No!!"
"Come on!! Open up! Eat the pizza!"

The argument about wether pineapple belonged on pizza or not just went on and on throughout the day.

Finally it was over and I went home.
"I'm home!!" I yelled as I closed the front door.  "Mom!? Nance? Will??" I looked around and sighed. "Anybody?" Nobody answered and I locked the door knowing they all had the key. Well, everybody except for my younger brother.

I plopped down on my bed and closed my eyes. I was exhausted after a long day of class and was about to take a small nap until I heard a phone ring.

I looked at my phone screen but nothing else showed other than a black screen.

Then all of a sudden I looked at the night stand aside my bed. It was my sister's phone. I picked it up and looked at the caller ID.

'Who the fuck is Steve?!'
