Who Is 'We'?!

Once we were all outside, Nancy let go of us and closed the front door.

Steve and I just stood there just waiting to be yelled at by my older sister.

Sure he almost walked in on us having sex, sure he walked in on us making out, but it wasn't all that bad.

...

Okay, maybe it is that bad but in our defense, we thought there was no one else in the house.

The front door had closed just moments after my mom said she would take him to the mall.

So of course, we assumed they had left when the door closed.

Nancy stood in front of us with the angry gaze on her face she had minutes ago.

"What makes you think you can just make out with the door wide opened and a child in the house!?" She exclaimed sternly.

"What if Will told mom about it? You guys would get into much more trouble than if you guys told her yourselves!"

We both stayed quiet and let her finish yelling at us before letting Steve speak up.

I knew he would say something stupid, sure, but now we were in huge problems.
Maybe bigger than the Empire State building.

"So is this a bad time to tell you that he almost walked in on us doing..it?"

She was about to burst.

It was almost as if you could see her face glowing red and steam coming out of her ears.

"ARE YOU GUYS OUT OF YOUR FUCKING MINDS?!"

Well she took it better than I thought she would.

She took a deep breath in and exhaled. She was trying to calm down but we both knew what would happen in she heard anything else.

"It's okay Nancy, just cool off. Every thing is fine." She mumbled to herself.

Steve and I looked at each other as we were waiting for her to say something .

"Anything else you guys need to tell me."

I raised my hand slightly and that was the moment her unconvincing smile left her face.

"So, I woke up, and Will was uh..standing in the room. I was um..n-naked and-"
I cleared my throat.
"A-And so was Steve.."

Nancy immediately walked back inside the house to calm down.

"AT LEAST HE DIDN'T SEE OUR D-!" Steve tried saying until I covered his mouth.
"Let's just back inside, I think she gets it." I said and led him back inside.

"You two are reckless as fuck and I don't even know if I can trust you guys to stay here alone with Will."

Nancy was trying to find someone to take care of Will but so far we've had no luck.

After she found out that Will had already knew, she wouldn't leave the three of us in the house.

"Have you tried Mike's?"

"Yeah, but Karen's kinda busy doing god knows what, so that's a no go."

I sat up straight to get a better view at what she was scrolling through.

Steve then walked into my room with a water bottle in hand and sat down next to me.

"What's going on?"

Nancy looked up to see him here and sighed.

"I can't find anyone to take care of Will while I go meet up with Barb for a project we have do tomorrow."

"Can't you do it here?"

She shook her head.
"She's grounded for today and the weekend."

"Want some water?" Steve asked handing her the bottle in his hand.

She shook her head again and continued to search through some people we knew.

"Hey, why don't we just take care of Will?"

"No way, not after those two times."

"Come on! We can take him to Scoops Ahoy for some ice cream!" Steve budged in and I nodded to show my agreement.

"See? Jonathan thinks it's a good idea."

"That's because he's..well.. Jonathan."

"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!"

She shrugged it off and ignored my question.

Steve continued talking.

"So? We'll take him to my work and after that, we'll both tidy this place up a bit."

I look in his direction.

"Woah, Woah, Woah! Who is 'we'?"

He rolled his eyes and pecked my temple.

"I'm gonna go check up on what Will is up to."
