Gonna Get Caught Someday.

Nancy came back later in the evening with huge smile plastered on her face.

I got up from the couch and saw her carrying four bags of something. I looked inside and saw dog food, treats, a bed, dog shampoo, and toys for our new dog who was sitting beside me.

She looked at me and then around the room with a confused look. She opened her mouth to speak and asked, "Where's Will and Steve?"

I smiled. "Steve took him to go get ice cream. They should be home any minute." I said and as if on cue, the door opened revealing both Steve and Will behind it.

"We are ba- what's with the bags?"

Nancy kissed his cheek and smiled. "Just things for the dog." He let out a quiet 'oh' and walked in.

Will still had a bit of ice cream left on his cone and he smiled when he was greeted by the pup. His tail was wagging and he started asking Will to pet him.

Steve smiled and looked back up at me.

"Hey Jonathan, wanna go to some skating rink?"

I looked at Nancy who had a hurt and definitely confused look on but still had a smile on her face.

"It's okay, go have fun little brother. I have to get dinner ready for when mom comes back.

I nodded and followed Steve out and into his car.

"You could've gotten us caught." I said and he chuckled. "I know but hey, now I get to spend more time with you."

He put the car in drive and we headed to the rink.

We arrived a few minutes later went inside.

After putting on my skates, I left Steve alone still putting his on.

(ANOTHER STEVE POV)

I took the skates off the counter and went to put them on. I looked up and saw Jonathan already skating and smiled at the fact that I'm practically dating an angel.

After looking back down, I put my second skate on and tied the laces tight. I looked up again but this time I didn't see anything.

I saw a guy standing in a corner of the room and skated my way towards him.

"Hey."

"Hey, whatcha' need?"

"Nothing but weird question, have you seen my boyfriend..? I kinda lost him."

He chuckled and shook his head. Then an idea sparked in my head.

"Is it okay if I stay here talking to you? I think I know how I can find him." He nodded.

We chatted for only a few seconds when I felt someone jump on my back.

"Dang Harrington, I leave you alone for a few seconds and you're already talking to other guys?" He said and smiled. I turned my head and kissed his cheek.

I waved bye to the dude and we both walked or skated our way to the rink.

"Where were you?" I asked him. He held up a water bottle. "Water."

We continued skating after getting some food before we even started. Steve let me lead him to the rink so I was facing him.

Once we got inside I skated away from him which of course led to him chasing me. Sidenote -- People probably thought we were crazy.

We finally went home and opened the door to see Nancy standing in the kitchen. She turned around and smiled before running into Steve's arms. He smiled and kissed her forehead.

Did it pain me to see that? Maybe.

Would it have been better if I just backed off? Yeah.

"Did you guys enjoy yourselves?" She said as he let go off Steve. He looked at me and smirked.

"Yeah..yeah we did." He said. She walked back to the kitchen and grabbed her purse.

"Well, I have to go to the store to grab some things to cook when mom comes back."

Then her phone rang and she answered it.

"Hi Barb!...Yeah, I'm heading to get groceries...oh okay!"

She exclaimed and walked out of the house. Her voice grew faint as she walked to her car.

Steve closed the door and put his hand on my waist. "Now that she's gone, we can hang out now." He smiled. I laughed and ruffled his hair. "We already hung out today Harrington."

He sat me on the couch and pecked my lips.

"Harrington? You only use my last name when you're mad at me, what'd I do?"

"Nothing, Harrington, you did nothing." I teased. "Aww..there it is again! Come on Jonathan!" He whined, putting his arms on the couch so I couldn't get up.

"Oh calm down Steve, I was just teasing you." I said and kissed him. I reached my hand under his shirt and he deepend the kiss.

I used the time he was distracted to roll off the couch.

I got off the floor and stood up.

"Okay, that is NOT fair." He said before getting up.

He started whining about why that wasn't fair but I just stuck out my tongue.

"Life isn't fair buddy!" I said and he walked towards me, pinning me to the wall. "C'mon Jonathan, give me one reason that was fair."

I shook my head no and smiled. He pressed his body against mine and kissed my neck.

Then my worst fear happened.

The door opened and in came Nancy.

"Yeah sorry Barb, i forgot my...keys.." she trailed off and stood there.

"Nancy, I swear to God, this is not what it looks like." I said and pushed Steve off me.

She looked like she was going to cry. "B-Barb..I'm gonna have to call you b-back..." She said and hung up.
