Thea let out a groan as they walked. This was stupid. Her mother was stupid. Her brother was an idiot. Tommy was gorgeous though.

''You cant marry Tommy. Stop eye fucking him.'' Oliver demanded nudging her forward.

''Says who?'' Thea countered smiling back at her brother Olivers best friend Tommy Merlin.

''Because mother-''

''Just because her and dad were dreadful together doesnt mean she gets to make my life miserable too!"

''It sort of does.'' Oliver corrected gently.

''Be glad be so fucking glad you are a man and she doesn't care what you do or who you fuck!" Thae shouted and Oliver shushed her.

'I'd rather not. The boars squeal like children when they're being slaughtered. I find it discomforting'. Rhaenyra said looking out the window.

'It's a hunt, Rhaenyra.' Viserys reminded her trying to keep a smile on his face as Aegon babbled happily. 'How would you like to participate?' Viserys pondered.

'I'm not sure why I must.' Rhaenyra countered.

'Because you are my daughter... The Princess. And you have duties.' Viserys reminded her.

'As I am ceaselessly reminded.' Rhaenyra murmured softly.

'I'm sorry?' Viserys questioned leaning towards her.

'As I am ceaselessly reminded.' Rhaenyra shouted back at him.

'You wouldn't need to be reminded if you ever attended to them.' he reminded her.

'No one's here for me.' Rhaenyra told him bitterly.

'Hail, hail Aegon, the Conqueror-Babe, Second of His Name! Here's to His Grace on his second name day!'

''All hail prince Aegon! All hail prince-"

''So they call you the strongest man in westeros.'' Thea mused

''Thats right.'' Harwin Strong agreed.

''Wow. Quite the accomplishment. What does one do with all that muscle?'' Thea questioned giving his bicep a squeeze. His hand slid up and down running along her ribs down to her hip.

''You want to find out?'' Harwin offered and Thea tilted her head her lips closing in on his when her brother Oliver came pulling her back.

''Drama.'' He hissed

''Ollie!'' Thea whined.

'Come on. Mother isn't engaging you to break bones.'' Oliver told her

''Well why not? That man's muscles have muscles!'' Thea exclaimed.

''Bye Queen.'' Harwin called after her.

''Bye Strong.'' Thea coed

''Come on you flirt.'' Oliver begged but Thea dug her heels in.

''Come on let me have some fun. You and Tommy go out and I know it. Why cant I live a little?'' Thea begged.

''You are a woman things are different for women.'' Oliver reminded her. ''And you know it.''

''Argh,'' Thea exclaimed as he basically had to drag her inside.

"Go talk with the other ladies, I'm going to track down the man mother matched you with." Oliver suggested.

"Fuck you." Thea countered.

"That's the spirit."

"Why won't you just tell me?" Thea begged Oliver didnt answer only nudged her forward. "He's old and fat and has no personality." Thea realized. "She is matching me with a grandfather that is old and withered and borderline senile!"

"Thea!" Oliver hissed nudging her again.

"Seven hells Ollie." Thea grumbled.

'Lady Johanna was reported to have been abducted when one of Lord Swann's ships sailed through the Stepstones.' Ceira Lannister remarked.

'What will happen to Lady Johanna?' Alicent questioned.

'She's to be sold to a pillow house in the Free Cities if you believe the rumors.' Ciera told her. 

"Ah, fucking the world." Thea declared taking a seat.

"Lady Thea." Ciera said stiffly.

"I prefer Queen." Thea corrected and her gaze shifted to Alicent. The tension was high and everyone knew Thea was dramatic but she was smart and skilled and her family was wealthy.

'I fear the gods did not make me for hunting. Might I sit with you, my ladies?' Larys had a brace on this leg and a cane in hand as he approached the group of women chatting.

'How about I go for a hunt and you take my spot." Thea offered standing up. Larys smiled back as her softly.

'But of course. Please join us. Larys Strong, the youngest son of our Master of Law, Lord Lyonel.' Alicent remarked. Larys took Thea's seat as she tried to leave, already bored of womens chatter and gossip.

'My Lord husband says that no King has even been able to tame the Stepstones for long. It's an inhospitable place suited only for savages.'

'Perhaps the Princess... can give us some insight.' Ceira remarked as they looked to Rhaenyra in the doorway.

'Oh, I'm not sure how I could. I've never been to the Stepstones.' Rhaenyra reminded them. 

'Your dear uncle is the great mind behind this war. Is he not?' Ceira questioned.

"Daemon, handsome man i've heard." Thea remarked. Rhaenyra stared back at her, she didnt know Thea.

'I wouldn't know about the step stones. I've not spoken to Daemon in years.' Rhaenyra told her bitterly.

'Since you supplanted him as heir.' Ceria corrected

'Daemon made his choices, Lady Ceira. The Princess was more suited to the role.' Alicent said kindly trying to win back favor with her friend.

"I can't imagine him to be a good king but a good fuck I assume." Thea offered. Maybe she could get out of this union with this unknown man if she had people gossiping about her but they knew better than to speak so publicly about Thea. Her mother seemed to own half of westeros. That didnt mean Thea was going to dim down on her drama.

'He's made a mess and the King must put an end to it.' Joselyn Redwyne remarked.  'Send fleets and men and clear out the Triarchy for good.'

'But the crown is not at war.' Rhaenyra told them.

'The crown... is at war, Princess. Though your father refuses to admit it, we've been dragged into it by your uncle and The Sea Snake.' Joselyn told her.

'And how have you served the realm of late, Lady Redwyne, by eating cake?' Rhaenyra pondered.

"HA!" Thea laughed out. "I like you, let's get out of here. I'm Thea Queen."
