''We join today at the seat of the sea to commit the lady Laena of house Valeryon to the eternal waters and domination of the Merling king where he will guard her for all her days to come as she sets to see for final voyage the lady Laena leaves to true born daughters on the shore though their mother will not return from her voyage they will all remain bound together in blood salt courses through velaryon blood. Ours runs thick. Ours runs true. And ours must never thin.'' Vaemond declared. Thea leaned into Otto bored but damn if she didnt look gorgeous. Daemon looked equally bored.

Viserys wasnt happy that Otto rejected his offer, Alicent was very displeased, Larys set fire to Harrenhall and sure Alicent didnt ask for it nor want them dead and her father had the nerve to reject the offer?

''My gentleness may the winds be as strong as your back you were sees as calm as your spirit and your nets be as full as your heart. From the sea we came. The sea we shall return.''

"Quite the party." Thea remarked as they moved to the top balcony. "For a funeral." she added smiling back at Otto.

"Can I say hi mama?" LOttie questioned looking to Aemond and Helaena.

"Lets say hi." Thea agreed as she held tight to Robbie's hand.

"Lord Hightower, so good to have you back! Are you returning as our faithful hand?"

Thea huffed out a breath, she wasnt living at the capital and didnt want these people making otto think otherwise.

"Thea." Otto called out. She turned to him hesitantly. "We go home after this, don't worry."

"I'm holding you to that

"I'm holding you to that." Thea agreed as RObbie pulled on her hand.

"Come on mama." RObbie begged. Thea glanced to Daeron.

"You remember your siblings at all?" Thea pondered. Daeron shook his head. "You want to come back to old town with me?"  He nodded eagerly. "I'm good with that too." Thea agreed.

"Theadora." Alicent declared and she groaned.

"Daughter." Thea countered as she looked to Alicent.

"Daeron." Alicent realized. Daeron hide behind Thea.

"Yes, Daeron this is ALicent the woman that willingly gave you up, lucky for you I'm awesome." Thea agreed. Alicent stared back at him, he was a stranger, she was a stranger to him and she brought it on herself.

"Hello my sweet, I missed you." Alicent offered.

"I dont know you." Daeron corrected holding onto Thea.

"I'm sorry, but I thought it was for the best, did you have fun with your... grandparents?" Alicent pondered.

"Mama can we go?" Daeron countered looking to Thea. Alicent's jaw dropped.

"Why dont you say hi to your... to those silver haired humans with Lottie and Robbie." Thea suggested.

"His siblings." Alicent hissed.

"Lottie and Robbie are more his siblings than your children will ever be, just as I am more a mother to him than you will ever be." Thea corrected.

"I thought it was for the best." Alicent remarked.

"I like Daeron. I'm keeping him." Thea informed her in a tone that left no room for argument.

"Thank you Thea." Alicent whispered. Thea stared back at her patiently. "Thank you for taking care of my father, my son, I never thanked you and now I wanted you to be miserable like me because you are stealing my father again and I'm sorry... I'm sorry I thought such things because you are a better woman than I."

"Thank you." Thea agreed. "He's a good boy, sweet thing."

"I'm... why isnt my father accepting the position as hand of the king?" Alicent questioned desperately.

"Because I asked him not to." Thea answered honestly.

"And he agreed?" Alicent couldnt fathom him giving up that position for anyone.

"He agreed." Thea agreed simply.

"Why?" Alicent said it before she realized what she was saying aloud.

"Because when you love someone completely you are willing to give up things for them and their happiness." Thea remarked.

"Him being hand of the king would make him happy." Alicent corrected. "You dont love him?"

"I love him very much." Thea corrected. "If he pushed back, he would have been hand and I would have stayed at old town. My place is not in the capital." Thea remarked sternly. "I told him so, I didnt make him decline, I told him the options. He left, got to be hand and I stayed with the children at old town. We would grow apart and I would find someone else to fill my time eventually because I'm young and this cant be the end of my sex life." Alicent glanced to Otto. He seemed content. "I didnt make him do anything, he chose me over the capital, over the hand of the king, over the king. He chose me, he chose family."
