The following day, it was only four P.M. in the afternoon and Jaquella had no plans after Trevor left later in the morning to catch up with the team.

Or so Jaquella thought.

Trevor stayed with her the entire night as they binge-watched as many movies as they could watch with a bunch of snacks.

After a long time of sleeping over in Jaquella's bed, he made a heads up to her that he would go to practice in the morning and make some plans later that time.

However, he ended up changing his mind at the last minute. He wasn't feeling it, ever since he took that call from Coach, something bugged him so much.

Although it was early in the morning and Trevor had woken up quite a bit later than he expected to, Jaquella couldn't help but movie how he's been off lately.

As well as his actions becoming increasingly apparent last night, Jaquella wondered if it was something about the call he had.

What if it wasn't the team and Trevor was just lying?

Jaquella shook her head from her thoughts as she tried to shake off the doubts. No way Trevor could be lying to her. She trusted him as much as he did.

But why wasn't she convinced enough?

She wanted to talk about it, but it was none of her business to begin with. So she ignored the situation, only that she could not overthink it too much.

The next thing she knew, her phone had been blowing off the entire day. She knew it was those notifications that were trying to catch her attention and being those types of news for entertainment, Jaquella ignored it.

She'd fall asleep the second she could read them. But it looked like it was important. From the way her phone had ever blown up that much, it might've been something more than she thought.

She picked up her phone off her nightstand and scrolled through unread messages and notifications that displayed almost half of her screen.

Her heart began to race, increasing by the millisecond wasted. A frown slowly made its way to her face, pressing one of the notifications that seemingly caught her eyes.

The way her hands shook, wasn't clearly a good sign. Every single moment, her breath caught in skips and slow pauses.

An article displayed on the screen, and the headline made the frown worsen. Jaquella carefully read the first paragraph of the article and before she knew it, her heart sank.

She held her breath, feeling every bit of her heart painfully dropping to her core. Slowly, a hand reached to her mouth and covered it, reading over a word that struck her.

There was no way. She had to check if it was a legit article written and hoped it wasn't, but to her surprise, it was entirely true.

It could ruin her boyfriend's career.

Trevor.

Making it to Trevor's place, she parked her car somewhere in the parking lot, having no care about her car smearing against the others.
