JAQUELLA

"I am," I replied, with much confidence spilling through my words as I tried to fight off the urge to grin, realizing how different they looked in person from the internet.

They looked hotter, I gotta admit. And by the look of Tabitha, she looks happier and as if she didn't just hate on them for stealing the championship from Canada earlier.

I chuckled and gently let go of her arm to hug every one of them until I purposely made Trevor go last. Once we made eye contact, he gave me a look and engulfed me in his arms, a hug way longer than I had given to the others.

He laid his hand on my back, slowly going further down until he reached the top of my butt, slight shivers ran down my spine. A bright red colour rose to my cheeks and I quickly pulled away from the long-lasting hug.

"Never thought I'd meet Tyler Seguin's daughter." The ginger-haired boy, Cam, raised his brow and I playfully rolled my eyes, ignoring a familiar gaze burning the side of my face.

I glanced over to Tabitha who held a cute shy smile. "This is Tabitha, my best friend," I said and the boys smiled at her while the others waved politely.

"Wait, aren't you Jamie Benn's daughter?" Cole asked, a visible frown plastered on his face.

She nodded her head and sneakily narrowed her eyes at the boys, before letting out a small giggle. They looked surprised and I knew they didn't think that I would come across Jamie Benn's daughter.

Before we could get started with drinks and a bunch of conversations, I introduced Tabitha to the boys with their names.

"T, so, this is Cole, Jack and his older brother, Quinn, Jamie, Trevor's teammate and Cameron but you can call him Cam, Alex, Spencer, and lastly Trevor." I smiled, hesitatingly enough to say Trevor's name as we looked at each other for a split moment.

He stared as if he was studying me carefully, his eyes slowly scrolling through my body from head to toe a couple of times and I felt naked in front of him even if it was a slight matter.

Watching him like he was ready to attack for my appetite and I had to look away just before he could examine me even further.

I pressed my lips in a thin line, ignoring a little sea of butterflies erupting towards my spine, watching Tabitha and the boys as they had the chance to welcome her around.

I didn't like what he was making me feel, yet I felt like I owned the world like it was my own.

Once I knew she was in good hands, I left the scene and looked for a kitchen where I could get myself a drink to get a grip for once and all.

I grabbed one of those plastic red cups and poured myself a drink. Wasting no time as I gulped the fruit punch down, letting out a deep breath afterwards. I took another pour of my drink and turned around.

My heart fluttered rapidly as soon as I made eye contact with Trevor again when I realized he had entered the kitchen. He didn't even bother to hide the smirk planted on his lips, approaching me and I watched every move of his with a raised brow.

While he just lay beside me, I noticed his looks further than I did back there with the rest. He's a handsome guy, don't get me wrong. His hair was always messy as if he ran his hand through it about a million times a day.
