"What are you doing here?" Jaquella bit the inside of her bottom lip, glancing at Trevor, so many emotions running through her mind.

His eyes glinted for a split second as he took his time viewing Jaquella in front of him, missing every part of her.

She had no idea how much he had missed her in these days when she wasn't right by his side.

But Jaquella had no idea whether she wanted to lash at him in the restaurant and cause a scene or be calm or sob in front of him. It just had been so long since she had seen him.

Quickly, she noticed his face; how his red eyes and nose caught her eye, knowing that he was doing alone. He also wore baggy, wrinkled clothes that looked nothing clean.

"I can't believe it's you, Ella." He finally said, glancing at her; not only love but remorse for the things he did towards her. The pain he caused, to her and their relationship. "I've been looking for you. I was so worried." Stuttering between his words, he rubbed the back of his neck.

Jaquella looked through his big hazel eyes and swallowed hard, resisting herself from remembering the article she read about him on her phone.

She was already secretly wishing her brother would just finish his time in the washroom and help save her from the awkwardness.

Trevor exhaled, "Why did you leave, Ella? You could've had the chance to break up with me?"

Listening carefully to his words, Jaquella slowly glanced at him and saw how disintegrated he looked. He looked like he was suffering from something as much as Jaquella was these past months ago.

"But you didn't. Why didn't you?"

Before Jaquella knew it, a tear slipped through her cheek when she blinked and quick as a tissue, she wiped it off with her palm.

She glanced at her hands and breathed shakily, "I have no idea."

When she turned to look at him, he was nowhere to be found. Her eyes instantly searched for him, but she didn't even hear footsteps descending.

A frown made its way to her face as she looked for him through the windows and Manu appeared, sitting in front of Jaquella and glancing at her, confused.

"Are you okay?" He asked, reaching his hand to his sister's arm on the table but she only backed away. "Ella, what's wrong?"

She shook her head, "Nothing, I'm okay."

Manu wasn't convinced enough that she was 'okay' just by the way she was reacting around. Did something happen when I was gone? He was worried for her.

"Ella, I can see that you're crying. What's wrong?" He repeated and Jaquella exhaled deeply, blocking herself from thinking.

"It's fine, Manu." She mumbled, "I'm gonna go outside for a second." Before he could respond, she immediately left her seat and exited the restaurant.

Closing her arms together as she kept herself warm, she looked sideways at the streets several times before confirming that he wasn't seen anywhere nearby.

Her shoulders dropped and she let out a loud sigh, "Fuck." She mumbled.

After the situation in the restaurant, Jaquella and Manu eventually agreed to go back home after going through what they didn't expect.

It was a lot to catch on and Jaquella ended up returning to the washroom at the back once again, trying to help herself forget about the incident.

But she just couldn't help but believe that she was finally able to see Trevor after a whole four weeks apart.

Even after everything, it showed that she still missed him when she went outside and went to look for him. He disappeared out of the blue, just like she did and now she knew what it felt like.

Jaquella just needed to have a discussion with him about their relationship and mostly, the fact that she had been carrying his baby this whole time.

She was going to convince herself to talk to him and reveal their plans and that he was going to be a father. But how can she do it when he has been accused of sexual assault?

Nevertheless, she had to pause whatever she was doing at the moment and explain everything to Trevor.

Even if it was small, she still had to say something about it. It wasn't easy, but Trevor deserved to know after a while of hearing nothing from his girlfriend.

She had many doubts about staying away and stopping from doing what she was supposed to do, but it was finally time that everyone she knew deserved to learn the truth; about her surroundings to where she had been all this time.

At this moment, Jaquella and Trevor needed to figure out what they both needed; for themselves and each other respectfully. At this point. Their relationship was already on the rocks, and it wasn't a good look.
