FEW MOMENTS LATER

"Are they mad at me for being rude?" Y/N asked, wiping her face with her towel.

After talking to Jessica for some time, Y/N finally got out of bed. Talking to Jessica really helped, and she realized just what exactly she's been doing to herself and to the people that try to help her.

"No," Jessica said, smiling. "They're upset and they really miss you."

Y/N hummed while biting her bottom lip.

"Hey, don't worry, they're not mad at you." Jessica said, seeing Y/N stressing out.

"You think so? I've been an asshole." Y/N said, and she sighed.

"They're not mad at you." Jessica said and stood up and took the towel from Y/N, she gently wiped Y/N's face. "Trust me."

Y/N look between Jessica's eyes, and it calms her down a little. She took a deep breath and nodded her head. "Okay, I trust you."

"Good," Jessica smiles. "Now, let's get out of your room before I burn your house down." She said and raised an eyebrow.

Y/N laughed, "Okay, jeez."

Jessica smiles widely, "Okay. Come on, let's go downstairs so we can all eat, yeah? I'm sure they'll be happy if they see you. They really miss you."

"I miss them too." Y/N said, "And thank you, Jess, for coming here and for cooking my favorite."

Jessica smiles, "I always got your back, hon. We're not married anymore but I'm still gonna be here for you through thick and thin." She said.

Y/N smiles, "Thank you, Jess."

Jessica smiles and went to the bathroom, she hang the towel. When she came back, she held Y/N's hand and giving it a gentle squeeze. "Let's go downstairs."

Y/N just nodded her head and followed Jessica out of her room. She feels like an asshole for being rude to her best friends, they only want her to be okay, but she only shuts them out. She was too lost in her own world, overthinking and feeling the pain, that she ignored their help.

"Hey." Jessica spoke as soon as they made it to the dining area.

Cate, Sarah, Jennifer, and Charlize looked up and their eyes landed on Y/N.

"Hey." Y/N spoke, she bites her bottom lip and look at her best friends. Now that she's really looking at them, she can see that they look sad. She feels even more bad for how she treated them.

"Hey, sweetie..." Sarah smiles.

Jessica looked at Y/N, giving her a soft smile and she squeezed her hand.

Y/N glance at Jessica before she nodded her head. She squeezed Jessica's hand before letting go. Then she took a deep breath, "I'm so sorry, guys. Sorry for my attitude and for refusing your help. I'm really sorry. I've been an asshole and you guys don't deserve any of that, I'm really sorry."

"Is this a one time thing? Or are you really going to help yourself get over your heartbreak?" Cate asked.

"I'm coming out of my shell and I'll stop being a sad lesbian." Y/N said.

Charlize chuckled.

"Oh my god, finally." Jennifer said and she stood up, hugging Y/N. "I thought I'll have to drink more and meet another alter ego, a very sad one."

Y/N chuckled, and she hugged Jennifer.

Soon, Cate, Sarah, and Charlize joined, hugging Y/N and Jennifer.

"I'm really sorry, guys." Y/N whispered.

"It's okay. We're not mad, we just missed you." Charlize said, kissing Y/N's head.

"I miss you all too." Y/N said, smiling.

"Come here." Sarah said, pulling Jessica to join the group hug. "You're a miracle. Thank you for getting her out of her room."

"I just threatened her, it always works." Jessica said with a shrug.

"Yeah, she said she'll burn my house down if I don't get out of my room." Y/N said.

"Damn, why didn't I think of that." Sarah mumbled.

Y/N laugh, followed by her friends. She's so glad that they're sticking by her side. At least, she's got friends who'll be there to pick her up when she's down. That will be enough to keep her sane from her heartbreak.
