FEW HOURS LATER
"So," Jessica looked at Y/N, "Anything new with you?" She asked, smiling.
It's been a few hours, and Jessica finally finished going around and talking to people. Honestly, all she wanted to do right now was sit down with Y/N and just talk. She missed talking to her.
"You're not stalking me?" Y/N raised an eyebrow. "That hurts." She said and pouted.
Jessica laughed, rolling her eyes. "You don't have any social media, hon. How can I stalk you?" She raised an eyebrow.
Y/N ignored what Jessica called her. She chuckled and raised an eyebrow as well, "You're creative, Jess. I know you have your ways."
"Well," Jessica hummed and tilted her head.
"Oh?" Y/N raised an eyebrow, she knows that look too well. Jessica knows something. "What is it, huh?"
"You have a new friend." Jessica said. It wasn't even a question.
"I have plenty of new friends." Y/N said.
Jessica licked her lips before smiling at Y/N. "Really? Well, I'm talking about this certain woman. The one you're always with."
"Oh," Y/N said, "You're talking about Scarlett Johansson?" She asked, even though she already know the answer.
"Mhm," Jessica hummed, nodding her head. "Are you... dating again?" She asked while unconsciously playing with her promise ring.
Y/N shook her head. "No."
Jessica just stared at Y/N, studying her.
"I'm not dating anyone. Scar and I aren't dating." Y/N said.
"But you wish you are, don't you?" Jessica asked.
Y/N's eyes widened, "What?"
Jessica chuckled and shook her head, "Nothing, hon. Anyway, more drinks?" She asked.
"Sure..." Y/N said, frowning a little.
— after that talk with Jessica, the party continued, and soon, almost everyone was already drunk.
Jessica and Y/N stayed on the couch for several hours, talking and catching up. It was great; they felt like they were becoming friends again. They ended their marriage peacefully; there was no blaming each other or any of that stuff. Still, they never really went back to being friends after that. It was too soon, and they still have lingering memories and feelings. They thought they would grow old together; they were a happy couple. They dated for three months and made it official; they were girlfriends for about two years before Y/N asked Jessica to marry her. But after just three years of being married, it became difficult and too much. There's a lot going on in their careers, and there were times wherein they barely saw each other because of it. That caused them to grow apart from each other, so they just decided to get divorced and saved the remaining respect they have for each other. They decided that it's better to just end their marriage before things really go bad.
"Oh my god," Y/N's eyes widened as she saw Jennifer having an arm wrestling with a man. "She's fucking drunk." She said and laughed.
"I think the three are all drunk, Charlize's the only one sober." Jessica said, watching the scene in front of them.
Cate and Sarah were cheering for Jennifer, while Charlize just stood there, watching and laughing. Also, making sure that no one will get hurt.
"I think it's time for us to go," Y/N said, it's late already and she's got schedule tomorrow. She looked at Jessica, "Jen's gonna end up hurting that man." She said and chuckled.
