After Y/N's interview with Jimmy, all she wanted to do was go home and drink. Talking about Scarlett really put her in a bad mood. She felt like throwing up as she lied to Jimmy about still talking to Scarlett when, in truth, she blocked the green-eyed actress and always made sure that she went in the opposite direction of where Scarlett was. She can't see Scarlett, not yet. She knows she'll go back to the beginning and lock herself in her room, but she can't do that anymore because she's got a movie coming and she needs to promote it.

Y/N sighed as she heard Taylor Swift's song, Hoax.

My smoking gun

Y/N bit her bottom lip and looked at her friend. "Really?" She raised an eyebrow.

Taylor stopped singing and smiles sheepishly. "Sorry, the song is playing in my head." She said.

Y/N and Taylor are good friends, they always rant to each other about their love life.

Jimmy interviewed Taylor before Y/N, and Taylor decided to wait for her friend so they can hangout. Since she also know what's been going on with Y/N and Scarlett, she wants to make sure that her friend is okay.

Y/N sighed, "This is so bad, Tay."

Taylor smiles sadly. "We'll talk about it when we get to my place." She said since they're still at the car.

Y/N just nodded her head, she looked outside and sighed again.

— after a few minutes, they finally arrived at Taylor's place. The singer got two glasses and a wine, then they settled at the living room.

"So, what's going on? Last time we talked, you said that you confessed to her?" Taylor asked and raised her eyebrows.

"Yeah," Y/N nodded her head. "You know how that conversation went. And she ignored me for a whole damn week, then there's this news about her and a guy. I got mad, she was ignoring me but she started hanging out with someone else. So, I decided that I will get the answer from her the same day and I went to her house... but I wished I didn't."

Y/N took a deep breath. She looked up while biting her bottom lip. She can feel herself about to cry and she hate it, she hates being weak. She hates herself for loving Scarlett. For breaking their deal because it left her heartbroken.

"I mean," Y/N sighed. "I should've known that breaking a deal won't end up well. Especially a deal like that."

Taylor frowned, "What happened when you went to her house?"

Y/N closed her eyes, and she can see what happened on that day. What she saw that day.

"Hey..." Taylor whispers while wiping Y/N's tears.

Y/N opened her eyes and looked at Taylor, "She was topless and making out with that guy." She said.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, Y/N." Taylor said, and she can feel her heart aching for her friend.

"Yeah, me too." Y/N said, chewing her bottom lip to stop herself from crying.

Taylor hugged Y/N, "I'm so sorry."

"I'm so mad at her, Tay, I fucking hate her for breaking my heart." Y/N said, burying her face on Taylor's shoulder. "But I hate myself more because I can't stop thinking about her. I still love her, I love her so much and it fucking hurts!"

"I know." Taylor whispered, rubbing Y/N's back.

Y/N sobs, her heart feels so heavy. Like someone is stepping on it, making it hard for her to breathe and to feel anything other than pain.

"We weren't even dating," Y/N said, "She can sleep with whoever she wants, b-but... I fucking confessed. S-She knows I love her, s-she could at least turn me down first before sleeping with someone else. This is my fault, what we had was great, I shouldn't have broken our deal."

"Hey, come on now, Y/N." Taylor said and pulled away, she cupped Y/N's face, "Don't blame yourself. This is not your fault. You fell in love, that's it. You know we can't choose who we love, it just happens. What you can do is fight for it, fight for your love."

"How can I fight for someone who doesn't feel the same, Tay? It's a losing battle." Y/N said.

Taylor smiled a little, then she wiped Y/N's tears before letting go of her face. "When you confessed, she didn't exactly turn you down, right? Maybe she feels the same, maybe she likes you. Maybe she was just scared to admit it to you, or... to herself. She's never been with a woman before, and she's not just a normal person, she's an actress, she's Scarlett Johansson. And coming out won't be so easy, maybe she was scared."

"I-I understand that, but she doesn't need to sleep with someone else. She could've talked to me first." Y/N said.

"I don't know the answer to that." Taylor said with a sad smile. "But I just want you to know, if fighting for your love is not an option anymore, then you have to let go. You have to let her go. If you don't, then you'll continue to drown until there's nothing left but your broken heart."

Y/N took a deep and shaky breath upon hearing what Taylor said. It totally makes sense, if she won't fight for her love, then she has to really let go. Before it's too late to save herself.
