I woke up at 5 am. It was today that I would finally get to see Ted again after so long. I got up, changed, and then I went for a walk.

I like to go on walks in the mornings. It's quiet,no people about, the sun coming up and the cold air renergizes you.

I walked back home and woke my sister up, which was a dangerous thing to do since she's not a morning person at all.

She was going to be taking me to the airport since I couldn't drive. Yes, I know I'm 20 years old, and I can't drive. It's not that I'm too lazy to take my test and get my licence it's because driving and being out on the roads scares me.

I know myself, and if I was to take a car out on the road, it wouldn't even be 15 seconds before I'd have it crashed into something.

I packed my bag, and after my sister got ready, we headed out to her car. I loaded my bags into the boot, and we headed off to the closest airport, which was about an hour and fifty minutes away.

My and my sister listened to the radio and sang our favourite songs together the whole trip. Once we got to the airport we both got out of the car and she helped me with my bags.

"Ah, I'm going to miss you so much!" Ivy spoke into my ear as she hugged me.

"I'll only be gone 3 weeks, Vee," I said back to her.

"I know, but I'll still miss you lots," she laughed, water pooling in her brown eyes.

"Please don't cry, I'll miss you too." I started feeling emotional myself as I hugged her.

My and my sister were inseparable, wherever she went I went and wherever I went she followed. We were best friends.

"I'll call you every day," she shouted as I walked into the airport.

"I love you, Vee," I shouted back,

"Love you have a safe flight bitch" she shouted back.

And with that I walked into the airport, feeling excited to go to La.
