Name I will use in this story: Mia
Mia is 40 weeks pregnant with Mason's and her second child. They already have a one-year-old, almost two-year-old daughter, Ellie, who's the sweetest little girl in the world, and they can't wait for her to become a big sister.
Today, they're both at Stamford Bridge to support Mason at his game. They're sitting in the box together with Lewis, who's there to help Mia look after Ellie. Now that Mia is 40 weeks pregnant, she can't do a lot with her one-year-old all alone and needs a bit of help.
Mia was trying her best to focus on the game, but it was difficult because her due date is soon, and her water could break any minute now. She's had contractions for almost three days meaning anything can happen at any time.
Ellie is in her uncle Lewis's arms, watching her dad from the window. "Daddy," Ellie pointed excitedly at Mason, who was just walking off the pitch to get subbed off. Mia was about to stand before another contraction came, a very painful one.
"Oh my god," she groaned in pain as she placed her hand on her bump.
Lewis turned around with Ellie in his arms and looked at her worriedly. "What's happening?" Lewis panicked as he saw how much pain she was in.
"It hurts," Mia said, closing her eyes, trying to take deep breaths.
"I'm taking you to the hospital," Lewis said, not thinking twice, he put Ellie down on the floor to help Mia stand on her feet.
"But the game," Mia said in pain as another contraction came.
"Don't think about the game for god's sake, you're having a baby," Lewis said, helping her up, trying not to panic himself
He pulled up Ellie back in his arms and carefully led them out to the parking lot. Luckily, outside the stadium, it was still empty, so they could get out in no time.
"Wait in the car. I have to tell someone to tell Mason what's happening," Lewis said as he carefully helped Mia in the car.
"Please hurry," she groaned in pain once again.
"Mommy," Ellie stared at her mom with fear in her eyes.
Mia grabbed her small hand a placed a kiss on it. "It's ok sweetie, don't worry about mommy ok." she said trying to sound calm in front of her daughter. "Here, play with this." She grabbed Ellie's teddy from her bag and handed it to her.
Ellie took the teddy and occupied herself with it. Lewis was seen running through the doors into the car.
"Is he coming?" Mia asked him.
"He's on his way, don't worry," Lewis said as he started to drive.
The car ride went fast; the hospital was near the stadium, so they had arrived within minutes.
Mia was taken inside with a wheelchair, trying to breathe through the painful contractions. One nurse helped Mia get changed into a hospital gown while Lewis and Ellie were standing outside the room to give her some space.
"Why is mommy crying?" Ellie asked her uncle
"Your little brother will be here soon," Lewis said, trying not to freak out his niece.
