I watch "The Walking Dead" on Netflix, as I lay stretched out on the couch with my fluffy blanket wrapped around me. I look horrible, horrible enough that I can sneak into the walking dead studious without being caught because the security would think that I was part of the cast aka the zombies.

My face is covered with my regular sea salt face mask- hence the zombie resemblance-and my hair is all scrunched up into a messy

bun, which impressively looks like a birds nest.

It's Saturday morning and I just came home from Mathletes practice, which is why I deserve a 3 hour-long break. And what could possibly be better than watch Netflix for your 3-hour break.

I hear someone come down the stairs and I look over to see that it's my mom, who obviously just came back home 2 hours ago.

I was pretty used to going home in the evening and waking up in the morning to find my mom not sleeping on her bed- but instead on someone else's.

And I know what you're thinking- she's a hooker. No she's not.

She's Cassandra Silvers, Vice President of one of the most important companies in America. Just because she's a businesswoman, doesn't mean that she doesn't like going out and having fun- a lot of fun. Being a single hot rich mom how can you not?

"Morning sweets." She says groggily patting me on the head as she heads towards the kitchen.

"Morning." I reply back as I watch a zombie get shot in the head.

"You doing anything today?" She yells from the kitchen as I hear cereal fall loudly into a bowl.

I think at what's in store for today before replying. "There's a party tonight but I don't think I want to go."

"What! Why not?" She asks walking over to me as she handpicks the cereal from the bowl. "I'm not going to be home tonight so I wouldn't mind if you go out with your friends to party."

"Surprise surprise." I murmur to myself.

"You can invite Andy to sleepover!" She suggests. "Or you can hang out with Bryce today, he can't sleepover though."

"Oh yeah. I didn't tell you." I say after a few seconds of wondering why she even suggested that. "Bryce and I broke up."

"No!" She yells. "But he's so cute! If I were your age I would definitely-"

"You can bang anyone as long as they're in your age range mom." I say quickly before she finishes her sentence. "And... as long as they're not my exes or people who are the same age as me."

She chuckles. "I'm a slut but I'm not that kind of slut."

We hear a knock on the door and my mom looks at me quickly before we both shout; "You get it!" at the same time.

"Mom..." I groan. "Look at me! I look horrid."

"I made you so you better do what I say." She says before putting down her empty bowl on the coffee table. "Besides I have to get ready for work."

I sigh before letting myself roll off the couch and onto the floor.

The knocking continues before my mom yells at me to open the damn door.

I push myself up before walking to the front door taking my time, like how the irksome person behind the door did to me.

I swing the door open and I stare at the guy in front of me for about 2 seconds before I realize who it is. "Adam!" I scream.
