Epilogue

Beneath the blue skies was a large city bustling with activity, men , women , children happily strolling through the streets, smiles on their faces and bellies filled as men and women started their new day.

Children walking side by side holding each other's hands as they make their way to the local school to embrace a new day of knowledge.

On a hill to the east, resided a gorgeous picturesque castle, walls made of white marble, tall stretching into the heavens.

As we reach the castle we find men and women standing in traditional armor guarding their posts with stoic expressions, reaching deeper into the walls, we see maids running up and down carrying various items to a large room.

as the large red doors opened, we see a larger room , grey and red walls , silk banners lining the walls displaying a snake eating its own tail. An ouroboros. Behind the snake was a Celtic knot depicting wholeness and loyalty.

Beside the banners lining the walls;

A dais four steps above it all stood a throne made of hundreds of swords.

As the story goes Aegon the conquerer used the swords of those he conquered and subdued to build himself a throne. Was it because he was vane?

Did he forge throne made from swords as a warning to his descendants?

Perhaps not, it wasn't known to many but Aegon the conqueror didn't only conquer the west because of his own hunger for power but he did it because he was shown a vision of a future where instead of the three headed dragon banner flew but a snake eating its own tail flew..

It was vague, but to Aegon he understood what it meant, one day his descendants would lose their place as kings and queens and would be replaced by the true heir of the throne.

A heir that would end the never ending winter with a golden sword and stand against giants.

His vision gave him hope that maybe humanity would continue living and the dead wouldn't win.

As soon Aegon the conqueror along with his sister wives flew west on the backs of their dragons and conquered Westeros .. became the kings and queens of the seven kingdoms.

He crafted a throne forged with the breath of the largest dragon and in it cast magic known only to those of old Valyria. He called it a prophecy.

That when the true heir arrived, the iron throne would glow with a fiery proof.

Centuries later that truth came, the heir arrived and with her brought a new era of peace, a era of progress and a era of new beginnings.

Alexandra walked through the halls of the RedKeep as she's done thousands of times before , instead this time of people seeking an audience with the Queen she was following the sweet laughter of children..

Laughter that made her heart beat quicker in anticipation .

As she passed through the doors, the guards opened , she gave them a smile and nod in thanks and appreciation.

The garden she found herself in changed ever so slightly , now instead of the rows of roses and lilies filling them, they were replaced with every kind of flower she could get her hands on, new species, hybrid species, various colors of the rainbow sprayed throughout them. But the Garden and it's flora and fauna wasn't her destination.

Instead she continued and followed the laughter of children passing the scent of lavender filling her nose..

Finding what she was searching for, she leaned against the tree and watched the scene play out before her with a soft smile lingering on her lips.

"It's my turn Syrax!" A sweet childlike voice chirped

A medium sized winged creature appeared and flew down to the ground, on its back was a small white haired boy.

"Oh no! Rora it was my turn .."

Aurora stomped her little feet cutely "No fair! Syrax is my partner ! You have your own grumpy face meraxes."

Draco grunted, groaning as he slid down the leathery wing, he patted syrax's nose "I'm sorry my friend, your partner is a bit of a pain in the —"

"Draco! Mind your tongue." The sharp rebuke came from a woman with silver hair, holding a wrapped bundle in her arms.

Draco lowered his head "I'm sorry mom"

"Don't apologize to me, apologize to your sister." The silver haired queen chastised

Draco turned around and gaze softly at his sister, scuffing his feet "Im sorry Rora"

The little girl shrugged and wrapped her arms around her sullen brother "Don't worry, meraxes will grow out of his grumpy phase , mommy says his just having a difficult time.. being the smallest of his siblings."

Draco hummed "Okay .."

Another voice that sounded like wind chimes fluttering through the wind spoke up "It seems we have a visitor."

Three heads snapped back simultaneously.

Alexandra who'd gone so far unnoticed chuckled a little bit and glared playfully at her second wife "Now, Clara did you have to expose me, it was just getting good."

Clara rolled her eyes playfully, rubbing her swelling belly. "If I didn't we wouldn't get this." She motioned to two pairs of legs running her way.

"Maman!!!" Alex snorted and prepared herself , she playfully allowed herself to be pushed over "We missed you."

Alexandra wrapped her arms around the two kids in her arms "And I've missed you more than you can even imagine .." she whispered truthfully.. she looked up to meet the soft gazes of her wives "And you.."

Daenerys smiled gently "But you're home now."

Clara nodded before groaning uncomfortably"Just in time too, looks like your little godling is in a rush to meet their family"

Alexandra grinned "Ooh can't wait to see whether we'll get another girl, that way it'll be even."

Draco whined a little , Aurora too "Tell us ! Where did you go this time? The moon? Saturn? Mars?"

"No Jupiter?"

Alexandra laughed at their suggestions

"No, maman visited the martians the last time!" Aurora argued

"Oh.. right , then where maman?" Draco nodded in realization.

Alex rolled her eyes playfully "I'll tell you all about it when you guys get cleaned up. After all we're celebrating someone's 6th birthday today." She mock whispered

Draco leaped in joy "Four more years right maman?"

Alex hummed and winked "Right, four more years and you and your sister will join me on my next excursion."

A white light glowed taking the form of human man "Oh don't I get any hugs huh? I kept that lump you call maman safe!!?" He feigned outrage.

Alex gasped "You .. fiend how dare you call me a lump!"

Escanor smirked "Heh what you going to do about it?"

Alexandra didn't answer instead she pointed up "Oh nothing but my dear buddy will.."

Escanor shrieked and ran in the other direction when Blackfyre roared at him.

Alexandra laughed in amusement as the sentient sword ran off , no doubt trying his luck with the ladies "Nice work Blackfyre that'll teach him." She shook her head and looked at the happy faces around her

"It's good to be home."
