Itachi Pov
I could've taken back the Susanoo but the vines made me unsure of wether it was safe yet. Sasuke was currently fighting with Obito and team seven. I believe the god named Kaguya. My presence would've just been a hindrance for any free fighting on the team's end so I decided the best option was to stay here in the current dimension. When suddenly Y/N started to sweat uncontrollably and talk in her daze so I tried to wake her up yet again. She held the cloth of my shirt so hard the knuckles of her fingers started to become white. The longer this went on the more I became worried until I heard her blinking. The Susanoo soon disappeared as my strength was used up from keeping it up for so long. Now even the small light I could detect was gone but it didn't matter. What important purpose did my eyesight even fulfill if all my loved ones were here with me?

Itachi:"Y/N are you alright?"

Y/N:"Yes but what happened?!"

"You were trapped in a dream. The infinite Tsukoyomi. Everyone should wake up any moment now. The fight is over."

It seemed like she adjusted herself back to reality but her reaction was weird as the kunoichi suddenly backed away and stood up. It led to her almost falling over. I wanted to ask what made her react that way but suddenly an impact was made as many bijuu appeared on the damaged ground.

"I am Hagoromo Otsusuki also known as the sage of the six paths." A deep voice echoed through the previously silent battlefield.

Y/N Pov
I helped the Uchiha get up and rushed towards the others. This moment was truly legendary. One of the first chakra users was thanking team seven for their extraordinary fight in battle. I looked around to find Obito but he was nowhere to be seen. Not even the unforgettable chakra was there. The masked shinobi nodded knowingly.
Somehow even if he was so unbearable I still enjoyed the time we had in the akatsuki.. 

Hagoromo:"Now it is time to release the kage of their jutsu."
The nine tailed beast beckoned for Naruto to go to his father. I smiled at the sight of the cheerful boy.

I turned my attention to the hand that was placed on my shoulder.
"Y/N, take care of Tsuna will you?" The first hokage said as he smiled and made his way to his position. I bowed and yelled after him. "I will! And don't worry I'll keep an eye on her gambling." I could feel tears forming in my eyes as the hokage chuckled. Quickly their bodies started glowing exactly like how itachi's was in the cave. I turned to the second hokage who only shook his head while looking down. His serious face turned into one of amusement caused by his older brother's attempt at waving which looked like he was swatting flies. Of course I waved back. Who gets the chance to meet the legendary hokage?

The morning was welcomed by tears and the words of Naruto who promised his father that he would do everything they had asked him. The reanimated shinobi rose up. The glowing light they were emitting almost matched that of the sun. I felt shivers run down my spine.. so many interactions with people long gone-

Suddenly the younger Uchiha started to cry out to the bijuu.
"I will take control of each and every one of you." As he had stated the bijuu's eyes turned to the rinnegan. Slowly they rose to the sky and were surrounded by pieces of earth.

Naruto:"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?? THEY ARENT GOING TO CAUSE TROUBLE ANYMORE!"

Sasuke:"Naruto you don't seem to understand at all. I'll have to kill you.. out of necessity. I can use the tailed beasts that I've captured. I'll let them live until then." The Younger Uchiha started to walk away.

Itachi:"Sasuke I understand where you're coming from but it's already enough. The tailed beasts have helped us during the war they aren't going to-"

"Oh but they started the war in the first place." Itachi's gaze fell to the ground. He knew Sasuke was right but he hoped to somehow stop his little brother's ways.

Kakashi:"Sasuke wait-" he yelled after Sasuke but his strength was gone from the previous battle so the hatake fell to the ground.

I believed the only way for Sasuke to get rid of this... hatred was to battle naruto. But not after a literal war.. that's insane.

Sakura:"even though I love.. even though I care so much about you, you still want to leave again. If there's still a small part of your heart that cares about me don't do this-"
I ran towards Sakura's tumbling body after the younger Uchiha had put her in a Genjutsu.

"It wasn't necessary to put her in a Genjutsu Sasuke."

Kakashi:"Sasuke don't you see Sakura isnt Even trying to make you hers. She suffers from loving you."

But the Uchiha didn't listen. He just started to run off. I looked at Naruto but he had an excited gaze? Was he happy to fight Sasuke? In that moment I didn't worry about Naruto. He seemed to have everything under control.

Naruto:"Looks like we'll finally see who's stronger now." He said before running after the black haired boy.

I concentrated Chakra into my hands which I used to help Sakura out of the Genjutsu. I couldn't imagine what pain she was reliving even if it was for a short period of time.

"Are you okay? We should go after the two." While looking around I couldn't find Itachi. He must've already gone ahead. I helped Sakura up and we supported Kakashi since he was at his limit. Even though the Chakra of Naruto and Sasuke was barely there the damage that was being done was heard from far away.

Sakura:"Please don't die on me.." The Haruno had been mumbling to herself ever since we made our way through the woods. We arrived not long after the biggest impact. Sakura immediately made her way down to her teammates while I slowly helped Kakashi get down.  As I got a closer look I noticed how each of them had lost and arm..
Itachi who had been watching or rather sensing the whole fight also made his way down to us. Sasuke sat himself up as Sakura healed both of them and gave everyone and apologetic face. His brother crouched down to his height and gave him his signature flick on the forehead.

Itachi:"My foolish brother.. have you finally settled down?"

Though the younger Uchiha had his pride he still apologized to his brother.
"I'm sorry... I've always tried to overlook everything each and everyone of you has done for me. I'm sorry." With every word his voice became quieter but still loud enough for us to hear. Naruto couldn't help but smile the whole time. After all he finally got his best friend back.

I assisted Sakura with healing everyone  and we made our way back to the cocooned Shinobi. It was quite a sight. The two boys freed everyone slowly.
It was finally over.

Hiii! How do you guys like this story so far? We're definitely close to the end.. But worry not I already have another Itachi x reader planned. Sorry I'm rlly obsessed lmao.
Is there anything you guys still want to see in this fanfic? Maybe a little more Naruhina/Sasusaku?
