8.

Y/N:"Help! Anyone?! Please.."

I mustn't wait for the help of enemy shinobi. Thankfully I am able to remember the way back to my room. I push the door open and slowly drop Itachi on the bed. From the pressure I fall to the floor.

No I mustn't rest. He is in a serious situation. I gather myself and put Zabuzas sword on the floor. Healing is something I rarely do. Though it's my mother's specialty I never had any interest in healing. I'd rather run into the  field. But right now I have no choice. I thought that if I would arrive here then someone could help but I should've just stayed there and healed him.

I search my bag for a food pill since my energy is drained. Gosh he's shivering more and more by the minute.

I summon my slug then remove his coat and shirt.. he looks like he hasn't eaten in weeks. I know I have a mission but I cannot let him continue suffering alone. I insert my chakra slowly more and more into his body.

After a while his breath has become steady but he's still not waking up. A long way to go.

Katsuya (Tsunade's slug's Name is Katsuyu):"Milady please do not overwork yourself. I can handle this alone."

Y/N:"No no if I help it'll go faster."

Katsuya:"You really care about him don't you?"

Y/N:"if none of this would've happened I'd be his stay at home wife.. maybe a life better than this."

After a few hours
Itachi Pov

Its like I'm in my own genjutsu. My parents are dying by my hands over and over again. I can't get out. The only thing I hear are my brothers cries.

Though I think I'm starting to regain consciousness. The memories are getting blurry and i can see light.
Looking to the left I see a (H/C) head resting by the bed.

"Y/N? Where are we?"

She wakes up startled. With teary eyes she hugs me tight. I don't know what to do..

"It's okay.. I'm right here."

She doesn't stop hugging me tight.

Y/N:"OH sorry i was just so happy you woke up."

She let's go. And the feeling of being alone comes back.

Itachi:"I'm glad you're okay. How'd we return? Did you carry me?"

She puts on a grin.

"Yup. Like a baby. It was adorable."

Feeling myself become red I quickly look away.

"Well- did anyone come?"

"Yeah Tobi came and retrieved Zabuzas blade while you were unconscious."

I try to stand up to leave and go to my room but I feel weak. This is embarrassing. Why? I shouldn't show this weak of a side to someone.

She holds my hand lightly for me to regain balance. What if someone attacked her while I was defenseless? What if she didn't even take me with her? What if she had used up all of her Chakra healing me? What if-

As if stepping on my own feet I stumble to the ground-..or rather Y/N since she caught me. This is embarrassing. I let go of her quickly and leave the room. The last thing I could see was her worried face.

I should let her rest. She wasn't able to. After a long journey at that. Stepping into my room I notice how lonely everything seems. All my life I've been alone in my mind but never without my..Family. I summon Shisuis crow. It's a beautiful night-like blue. Or is it purple? I don't care.

The crow sits one my arm while I lightly brush in the direction of its feather's.

His eyes are destined to help the person who will end all of this. All of this ruin. All of this hatred. All of this unfairness.

I lay on my back staring at the ceiling. One massive candle is the only thing keeping this dead room alive. Suddenly I hear a knock on the door. Is it the leader? Did he find out about everything? No that's not possible right?

"I'll just let myself in."

As i hear this voice all my worries go away.

I sit up straight on the bed as Y/N enters the room with a tray in her hands.

Itachi:"what's that?"

Y/N:"I told Hidan to get Dango when he went shopping this morning. Though Kakuzu did blow up at us for -spending all his money-"

She chuckles softly.

"Oh there's also tea."

Y/N Pov

He stares at me? What's wrong is there something on my face?

Y/N:"Something the matter? Oh. This is only dessert! I will definitely get your meal right now. I saw that you didn't eat anything these past few days I've been here. That must've been half the reason you got such a bad cold..."

He shakes his head and the side of his lips go upward just a small bit. I know by now that that's his way of smiling.

Itachi:"I just- I didn't think you'd care about such things. Thank you. I owe you so much."

"No I've chosen to help you. It's not like you forced me. Plus no one should be alone..." (lmao poor sasuke)

He slightly taps on the bed. Signaling me to take a seat which I do.

"Soooo you wanna eat this or not? You don't wanna make me force it down your throat."

Okay maybe not the best person to joke around. But still I needed to lighten the mood.

He takes one out of the box and puts his tea on the desk.

Itachi:"I'll eat it. I know what you're capable of. Picking a fight with you would end badly."

He says in a humorous tone which I didn't know existed.

Unknowingly that made me super flushed.

"Y-yeah! That's right. Now eat up. I'll personally bring over breakfast tomorrow too! I wouldn't want you to sneak out without eating."

He finishes his portion and promised me to eat the rest some other time. We ended up talking about all sorts of things. Though not about Konoha. It would seem suspicious if someone heard us.

I think we said our goodbyes around midnight and I went back to my room... what a surprise. Tobi was standing right infront of my door.

"Did you have fun?"

He said teasingly.

Y/N:"That's none of your business. Though where were all of you today at around 10?"

"We're preparing to move! Our new place is super duper awesome. Also there's an outside training area where no one will see!"

Oh we're gonna move? I've grown to like this small cave of ours.

"That's amazing! I'll make sure to pack my things for the time we move."

Can y'all sense why there's an outside training area? Mhm.
