The Beatles sit down on the grass to think some more, until a rabbit with white fur, carrying a pocket watch, and wearing clothes and glasses walks by, whistling. "Lads, lads, look over there!" Said John. "What is it, John?" Asked Ringo. John points to what he saw. "A rabbit with a waistcoat... and a watch!" Said Paul in shock.
The White Rabbit looks at his watch. "Oh my fur and whiskers! I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!" He cried. "Now this is curious! What could a rabbit possibly be late for?" Asked George. "Let's ask him. Please, sir!" Paul said as he and others run after the White Rabbit.
The frantic fella sings about tardiness.
I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date!
No time to say hello, goodbye!
I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!"It must be awfully important, like a party or something!" Ringo said. "Possibly. Mister Rabbit, wait!" George called out.
The White Rabbit continues singing about his tardiness before jumping down a rabbit hole.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
I'm overdue. I'm really in a stew
No time to say goodbye, hello!
I'm late, I'm late, I'm late! The Beatles stop short after coming across the hole. "My, what a peculiar place to have a party." John said. "Agreed. Shall we follow him?" Asked George. "You know, George, we really shouldn't... uhh... uhh... be doing this." Said Ringo as he crawled into the hole. The other Beatles crawl in after him. "After all, we haven't been invited! And curiosity often leads to troubl-l-l-e-e-e!" Said Paul as he and the others fall forward. "Hold on, lads! This is gonna be a long way down!" Cried John.
The lads fall fast for only a minute, then start falling slowly. "Well, after this we shall think nothing of falling downstairs!" Ringo said. The background gets a little darker, but John finds a light and turns it on so he and the others can see. Paul then sees a book and picks it up, reading through only one page. He then lands on a rocking chair and sits back on it, but it tilts forward, pushing him off. "Whoops!" Paul said.
"Goodness! What if we should fall right through the center of the earth... whooooaaa!!" John said as he and the others fall faster for a split second. They then turn upside down. "And come out the other side, where people walk upside down. Oh, but that's silly. Nobody..." George said until he and the others hit a railing and hang like bats.
