"Well, he was helpful... sort of." Said John. He and the other Beatles pick two pieces of a mushroom they're sitting on. "Hmm. One side will make us grow... but which is which? After all that's happened, I wonder if we... Honestly, I don't care." Said Paul. George takes a bite of the first piece. "I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm tired of being only three inches high." He said.
All of a sudden, George grows so big and gets stuck in a tree. "I think you're a little too big, George!" Hollered Ringo. A nest that was in the tree sits on George's head.
The mother bird inside the nest adjusts her glasses and looks around, only to notice she's higher than normal. "A serpent! Aaaaahhh! Help! Serpent! Serpent!" She cried. "Oh, but please! Please!" Cried George. "Off with you! Shoo! Shoo! Go away! Serpent! Serpent!" Yelled the bird. "But I'm not a serpent!" George said.
"So? Indeed? Then just what are you?" The bird asked. "I'm just a little human." Said George. "Little? Ha, little?" Asked the bird. She laughs afterwards. "Well, I am... I mean, I was." George said after realizing he's a lot bigger than he was. "And, I suppose you don't eat eggs, either?" The bird asked. "Yes I do." Said George. "I knew it! Serpent! Serpent!" Yelled the bird. "Oh for goodness sake!" George said in an annoyed tone.
While the bird was still panicking, George looks at the other piece of mushroom he has. "Hmmm... and the other side will..." He began. "A very idea! Spend all my time laying eggs, for serpents like him!" The bird said while picking up her eggs. George eats the other piece and shrinks again.
"How was it up there, George?" John asked. "Harrowing." Said George. "Goodness! I wonder if we'll ever get the knack of it." Ringo said. The Beatles put up their hands as if they're measuring, then lick one of their mushroom pieces, growing back to their normal size. "There, that's much better. Hmmm... we better save these." Paul said.
The Beatles put their pieces in their pockets to save for later.
