As the Beatles floated down the ocean of Paul's tears inside their bottles, the sound of a man's voice starts singing. It's a dodo bird.
Oh, the sailor's life is the life for me
How I love to sail on the bounding sea
And I never never ever do a thing about the weather For the weather never ever does a thing for me.Oh, a sailor's life is a life for me,
Tiddle um (honk, honk)
Tiddle dum dum dee!
And I never ne...The dodo stops singing for a moment. "Ahoy! And other nautical expressions! Land ho, by Jove!" He said. "Where away, Dodo?" Asked a parrot behind the dodo. "Dodo?" Asked George. "Three points to starboard. Follow me, me hearties! Have you at port no time at all now, haha!" Said the dodo with a laugh. He sails away while singing some more.
"Mister Dodo! Please! Please, help us!" Called Paul. A few more creatures are swimming. "Um, pardon me, but uh, would you mind helping us? Please?" Asked Ringo. "Yoo-hoo! Yoo-hoo! Help us! Please!" Said John. A wave splashes into the lads, causing them to go underwater. "Help us!" George said as his voice bubbled.
The Beatles manage to go back above water, only to notice the dodo standing on a rock with creatures running around in a circle. They join in, but get run over a few times.
Forward, backward, inward, outward,
Come and join the chase!
Nothing could be drier than
A jolly caucus-raceBackward, forward, outward, inward,
Bottom to the top,
Never a beginning there can
Never be a stopTo skipping, hopping, tripping,
Fancy free and gay,
I started it tomorrow
And will finish yesterday.Round and round and round we go,
And dance for evermore,
Once we were behind
But now we find we areBe-forward, backward, inward, outward,
Come and join the chase!
Nothing could be drier than
A jolly caucus-race.For backward...
"I say! You'll never get dry that way!" The dodo said. "Get dried?" John asked. "Have to run with the others! First rule of a caucus-race, you know!" Said the dodo. "But how can we..." Paul began. He and the other Beatles run with the creatures. "That's better! Have you four dry in no time now!" The dodo said. "No one can ever get dry this way!" Ringo said. "Nonsense! I am as dry as a bone already." Said the dodo. "Yes, but..." George began. "All right, chaps! Let's head now! Look lively!" The dodo said.
The White Rabbit suddenly appears. "Lads, there's the White Rabbit! Mister Rabbit, Mister Rabbit!" Said Paul. "Oh my goodness! I'm late! I'm late!" Said the White Rabbit. He runs off again. "Don't go away, we'll be right back!" Said John. "I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!" The White Rabbit said again.
The Beatles chase after him as the caucus-race continues. "Don't step on the fish! Eric, there, watch it there stop kicking that mackerel! William..." Said the dodo. His voice fades in the background.
