Only Time Will Tell

After a whole ten minutes of overthinking, I finally forced myself out of the car and walked back inside the set. Before I could even walk through the doors, I see Kevin scurrying towards me. "Y/n, what the hell happened?"

Well, I guess articles are already out.

"Why is there a video of you punching Robbie Arnett? He asks in a stressed tone.

"He deserved it."

Kevin puts his hand on his forehead, and takes a let's out a deep sigh. "Y/n, this could ruin my image.. and yours too!"

Call me petty, but I couldn't care less about what the media thought of me. If it meant defending Liz from shitty men, I'd do it without hesitation.

Before I could say anything else, Kev gets a call. "Hold on, it's Caitlin."

Not wanting to pry, I went back and took a seat, watching all of the videos going around the internet of my punch until I suddenly get a call. Damn, news really does travel fast.

"Hey Ash."

"Jesus Y/n, I saw the video.. I just want to warn you that Lizzie is flying back tomorrow, and we're not sure if Robbie is pressing charges."

I completely forgot about that part. I was so caught up in the moment.

"And I'm guessing she saw it too, huh?"

"Yeah.. this isn't an unusual occurrence for her."

"Wait, do you mean the cheating?" I ask, completely shocked about what Ashley was telling me.

"Yes, Robbie's cheated on Lizzie several times, which is why Mary-Kate and I are so confused as to why she's still with him."

What the hell?

"That makes no sense. You've talked to her about it?"

"We both have. At first, she was planning to dump him before she met you. Then she accepted his proposal."

Why would she be staying with him after that? I was baffled, a million scenarios going through my mind.

"Oh.."

"Hey, Y/n, I have to go but I'll talk to you soon."

"Okay, bye Ash."

"Bye Y/n."

The rest of the day felt like it was moving at a slower pace than usual. I pretty much sat and waited for Kevin to finish the whole time. The only thing keeping me occupied was watching the actors do their stunts, which I found pretty cool.

After Kev finished up on set at around 5 pm, we both went back home and ordered takeout. I'm guessing by his mood, something happened between him and Caitlin. They weren't really on good terms lately, there was a huge custody battle between them a few years back.

It is now 10 pm and we just finished watching a Harry Potter movie, it was both Kev and I's favorite movie trilogy. "Hey, I'm gonna head to bed now."

"Alright, is everything okay Kev?" I ask in a concerned tone.

"Yeah, just some stuff with me and Caitlin, nothing you need to worry about."

As I suspected.

"Okay then." I reply, not wanting to push for answers.

It took me a lot longer than usual to fall asleep due to the constant overthinking about everything. The thought of Liz being back home made my stomach drop, or Robbie pressing charges. I really didn't want him to, hating to cause any more stress on Kevin. After tossing and turning multiple times, I finally dozed off in a deep sleep.
