Only Time Will Tell

the night we met

"I had all and then most of you
Some and now none of you
Take me back to the night we met"

"Wake up baby!" Liz exclaims, lightly shaking me.

Fluttering my eyes open, I allow myself to fully awaken. Seeing her face, my mouth immediately curled into a smile. "Good morning."

"Good morning sweetheart. I take it you slept well?"

I gently nod. "I sleep well whenever I'm with you."

She jumps off the bed, "Good to know, because we have a flight to get ready for!"

Holy shit. I completely forgot about our flight. It's been a few days since Thanksgiving, meaning our anniversary was tomorrow. Liz and I made plans to go to New York today, plus I'd already been desperately wanting to see Ana again. It's been way too long.

She tilts her head,"Y/n Feige, have you forgotten about the flight?" Liz asks, putting her hands on her hips.

"Guilty." I respond, making my way across to bed towards her, pulling her into a heated kiss.

She pulls out of the kiss, "Nope."

I groan, doing a fake pout. "We need to get ready."

"I could think of better things to do with our time." I reply with a smirk.

"I wish, but we cannot be late for this flight. Now get up!"

"Okay, we have everything we need, right?" I anxiously ask.

Liz makes her way over towards me, cupping my face. "Yes, we do. Darling, I know you hate flights but I'll be with you the whole time, alright?"

I slowly nod, taking a deep breath. "Now we should get going, Andrew is waiting for us. Do you have your headphones?"

I chuckle, "Of course, you only reminded me about 100 times."

She leans over to give me a kiss on the cheek, "I know you can't fly without them."

I couldn't stop the crimson red that spread across my face, causing Liz to smirk.

"Now let's go." She says while grabbing my hand, leading me outside.

A huge grin appeared on my face as I saw Andrew hopping out of the car. "Andrew!" I yell while bringing him into a hug.

"It's so good to see you again Miss Feige." He replies with an even bigger grin.

Andrew and I have became good friends over the past few months, he's always been nothing but kind to me since we first met.

Pulling out of the hug, "It's good to see you too."

"Looks like I have competition." I hear Liz say following a chuckle.

Turning my attention to her, I can clearly see the jealously all over her face, resulting in a bunch of laughs from me. "You know I only have eyes for you, Olsen."

"That's correct, I've seen the way Ms. Feige looks at you." Andrew adds on.

Turning my attention back around to Andrew, "You can call me Y/n." I say, giving him a warm smile.

"Okay. Shall we get going then?" He replies.

"Definitely." I respond, helping Liz in the car.

The ride to the airport was fun like always. We talked about random things such as Liz's filming and my job. The huge smile stayed on my face as I listened to Liz and Andrew conversate like old friends. I absolutely loved how outgoing and gregarious she was.
