Pietro speeds to Brees floor, looking for her and he finds her sitting on the ground of her balcony. She has a cushion beneath her and her face in a notebook. He smiles when he sees her and speeds to the open doors, making her smile when she sees the blur out of her peripheral.

"What're you doing?" He sits against the window in front of her.

"Trying to figure out the beginning of a new song."

"What's it called?"

"Die First."

"Can I see?" He smirks and she looks up at him through her lashes.

"No." She shakes her head while closing the book.

"Ah." He turns away with a defeated sigh and she chuckles cutely, causing him to smile as he looks back at her. "Well, what have you done so far?" He motions. "Is it almost done?"

"Yeah, I've already recorded most of it and the music, I'm just a little stuck on the start."

"...Can I help..?" He slowly hopes.

She hesitates with a tilted head and he smiles as she moves to sit next to him with a nod and show him what she's got so far.

"I'm good at poetry, you know?" He smirks with his head laid back while looking at her.

"Really?" She nods and he nods back with a grin, making her smile. "Of course, you are." She turns back to the book while he smiles at her.

"Hey, how do you have the rest of it, but not the beginning?" Hw furrows his brows.

"I usually start with the chorus and whatever happens next." She motions while nodding. "The beginning just happened to come last."

She shows him the chorus first so he can get a small understanding of what she's going for. Next comes what she has so far in the beginning.

"You're all I ever wanted." She sings while he can't help smiling. "That's the first sentence, then this one comes in somewhere; you love me, but no matter what you say... And I can't figure out the rest." She grins while laying her head back to look at him.

"How do you do that?" He shakes his head with slightly squinted eyes and she smiles.

"Do what?" She picks up her head with him and a chuckle.

"Your voice." He motions with raised brows. "It's amazing, I don't understand."

"Oh." She looks down at her song with rosy cheeks and a grin. "I don't know." She shrugs while bouncing the end of her pen on the paper. "Gift from God, I guess."

"Clearly." He smiles.

Her grin just grows as she squeezes her eyes shut for a second while shaking her head a bit. She opens her eyes with a deep breath and lifts her head, trying to play as calm as she possibly can.

"You're all I ever wanted. So, how come I'm still haunted by the thoughts inside my head? You love me, but no matter what you say, there's only one of two ways that this is gonna end. Someone dies or someone gets hurt, but if one of us dies..."

Pietro and Bree have already spent two hours on just this part of the song, goofing off and really trying to focus. She's now sitting on the counter while he leans his elbows on it right next to her.

"Perfect!" He claps once and she laughs a bit with a bright smile. "High-five." He stands up straight and she does as asked. "That was so good." He smiles.

"Thanks." She chuckles. "And thanks for the help, I was really stuck, and this ended perfectly." She shakes her head.

"Yeah, no problem." He nods. "Is it finished now?"

"Yeah." She nods. "All I have to do is record it and figure out the beat and it's done."

"Well, now I'm excited." He leans back on the counter with furrowed brows and she chuckles.

"I know." She nods down at her book. "This is how I feel everytime."

"It has me all giddy." He shakes his head and she giggles. "Want to go downstairs?" He stand with his hand out for her.

"Yes." She takes it. "But we can't tell any of them."

She uses his hand jump off the counter while he smiles down at her.

"Well, of course not." He shrugs with furrowed brows. "Wouldn't want them getting all jealous, would we?" He smirks as they let go of each others hands.

"We would." She nods with raised brows and he chuckles. "But we can't. Sadly."

"Oh, well, alright." He sighs while turning with her as she walks to the elevator. "Boring." He sulks and she giggles as they step into the elevator.

Bree is standing behind the couch beside Thor, listening to whatever conversation catches her interest while staring at the floor, completely zoned out.

Thor decides to rest his arm on her head to mess with her while pretending to still be talking about valid stuff. She sighs with an unamused grin while the watching others smile. She closes her eyes and uncrosses her arms before smacking the shit out of his arm. He lifts it off with a smile while the rest laugh at her annoyingly furrowed brows.

"Oh, sorry, I didn't see you there." Thor jokes with a smirk.

"Giant jerk." She smacks him arm again, censoring herself to not curse in front of Morgan, only making them find it more funny.

"Hey, now, it's not my fault."

"Yeah, you're right, it's not. I blame you." She points at Tony, who gives her a weird look. "With your short self. Get the heck outta here." She waves him off. "I ain't get my height from my mother." She shakes her head with attitude. "I got it from you. So therefore, you're making fun of yourself. And I support." She grins sweetly.

"At least I can reach your mug." He smirks.

Her hand flies to her face while silently laughing, making them smile with a few laughs.

"You're just mad we're taller." Thor chuckles.

"Okay, Big Bird." She nods with a doubting voice.

Her gives her a confused look while the others laugh a bit and she walks away to sit by Pietro instead. Morgan gets up and jumps up beside her, just to be pulled on her lap instead.

"Anyway." Bree shakes her head. "Since you have all finally shut up..."

"Damn, Dude." Sam furrows his brows.

"I posted the video for Tired of California, if you wanna watch it." She pulls Morgan closer.

Tony gets Friday to put it on the TV for them and some sit there and watch it while others listen and do other things.

Pietro is one to watch it while Bree and Morgan do as well and she sings it quietly in her ear, making Morgan smile. Pietro smiles as well, being able to hear her and the music.

"That's a bad word." She whispers with a gasp and Morgan giggles quietly. "Don't say that." She points and she nods while Pietro grins at the TV.

He can't help thinking about how beautiful she looks in that video and real life. It's hard for him to keep how he feels about her in and it's confusing. He's never liked someone as much as he's liked her and she's only one seat away, oblivious to the thoughts racing through his mind, right now.
