Last night, The Avengers left for a mission and haven't been back in over twenty-four hours and Bree has stressing out since before they left. She made Pietro give her multiple hugs and kisses while forcing him to promise to be okay, meanwhile he was just smiling at her over protective gestures.
She hasn't been able to keep in contact with them, because they have to stay focused and on point. Wanda is closely monitoring Pietro to make sure he doesn't pull out his phone and call Bree, like they both want him to. But he's being a good boy and listening to his 'younger' sister.
While they're out saving the world, Bree sits up on her floor, alone with her music and thoughts to keep her company. Though, for the past week, her mind hasn't been the best guest to have in her home everyday. Especially when she's the only one around to defend herself and help her fight it or distract her from letting the bad side win.
Thankfully, Pietro has just blured himself into the living room late at night with a smile, so that's a relief and small weight off her back. She gasps and throws her arms around his neck as he lifts her up onto his torso with a deep breath.
"Hmm, I missed you." He groans a bit while turning. "So beautiful." He sighs and she chuckles lightly.
"I missed you too." She closes her eyes.
"Yeah, how much?" He smirks.
"I finished the song I've been making." She lays her head on his shoulder and he smiles a bit. "It's about you."
"Show me."
He sets her back on her feet and pulls her hair back over her shoulder before following her to the studio. He takes a seat on the mini couch against the wall that's directly across from her desk where she sits in her fluffy white chair.
"Uh, ever since those guys showed up here, I haven't been able to get it out of my head." She sits pulls her leg up to her chest as he nods in understanding. "And I have been thinking recently...what if I were in danger, but you weren't with me, like you were when they were here." She shrugs. "So I made you a song." She nods and he slowly smiles a bit. "A very important one."
"Okay." He nods softly. "Let me hear it."

"Shouldn't think it or say it out loud. What would happen if this plane to Paris went down? You'd be the first call I made to the ground. What would happen if they told us today? Armageddon was minutes away? I'd cry for you, would you do the same? Now I know that nothing's promised. Ridin' on a doomsday comet and all I can think of is you. You're all I need at the end of everything. You're all I see with the seconds left to live. It's true that I loved you to death as I call your name with my last breath while the sky caves in. You're all I need at the end of everything."
-
As it goes on, Pietro watches Bree's eyes begin to water as she stares at the floor and holds back her cries. Her eyes aren't the only ones that may need a tissue though. He closes his eyes and hangs his head with a grin before he gently takes her hand to pull her to sit in his lap with her head on his shoulder.

"If you were with me in the exit row, wouldn't be quite so scared to go. While the pilot prays and the engine blows, down we go. Now I know that nothing's promised. Ridin' on a doomsday comet and all I can think of is you. You're all I need at the end of everything. You're all I see with the seconds left to live. It's true that I loved you to death as I call your name with my last breath while the sky caves in. You're all I need at the end of everything. Mon amour, je suis tellement désolée merci de me faire sentir aimée je sais que j'ai besoin de toi je t'aime pour toujours je promets que ce n'est pas un au revoir. Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. You may want to make some phone calls at this time and get your affairs in order."

When it ends, Pietro has his head laid back with a sad grin on his face while Bree breathes heavily through her light cries with her thumb on her lips. He slides his hand up her arm and places it on her cheek while pressing a kiss to her forehead.
"I don't think I've ever heard you sing better than that." He shakes his head.
"Do you think they'll like it?" She sits up with a sniffle.
"I wish you had as much faith in you as I do." He rubs her back and she hangs her head while nodding as the tears slowly begin to form and fall. "I can't imagine anyone disliking this song, this is the best one I've ever heard." He motions to himself with a wholehearted chuckle. "And it doesn't matter if they do anyway." He shakes his head and she tilts hers in denial. "To me, I guess." He nods sideways. "It's just..." He sighs. "They make you cry so often and you're too hot to cry." He furrows his brows and she smiles a bit with tears rolling down her cheeks. "I mean, look at you." He messes with her hair. "Your makeup is perfect, your hair is perfect, your body is amazing." He nods surely. "Don't waste your time on what these assholes say." He cups her cheeks. "They don't know shit about what you've been through. I think you're perfect." He nods and she chuckles a sniffle, making him smile. "Perfect." He forces a kiss on her lips before pulling her back down to his chest. "I love you."
"I love you too."
