The team sits quietly in the common room with a few conversations floating around the couches. Pepper nudges Tony's elbow and shows him her phone, to which he grabs the remote to take over the TV.

"Bree published a new song." Pepper cautiously states and Pietro furrows his brows with a slightly tilted head, looking at his hands in his lap.

Wanda slowly looks over at him as the music begins and notices how fast and scared his breathing is.

"I don't even remember how it started. Something you said must've set me off." She sings and they all look at him. "My words are bullets and you're my favorite target. This isn't what I wanted, but I can't drop the gun. Mm-mm. Even I can't stop me. Mm-mm. Just so you know, I'm sorry."

Pietro slowly grins with a light chuckle, making the others smile as he shakes his head, feeling an old flutter in his chest that he hasn't felt in too long.

"I'll send you love bombs after the war, even though I know they don't work anymore. I'll wave a white flag after the storm. I promise, I've calmed down, I'm not manic like before. So you lift the rug and I'll sweep the glass and we can pretend like this never happened. Love bombs after the war, even though I know they don't work anymore. Even when I say it, I don't hate you." She continues while he just smiles at his lap and Wanda turns away with tears in both of their eyes. "I'm trying even when I lose control. And it's not fair to pull you into my chaos. But after we're out of the trenches, I love you more."

His smile grows on it's own as he covers his teary eyes with his fingers and elbow on the arm of the couch. His mind has gone completely blank, just filling itself up with the words she sings from her whole heart.

"Mm-mm. Just so you know, I'm sorry. I'll send you love bombs after the war, even though I know they don't work anymore. I'll wave a white flag after the storm. I promise, I've calmed down, I'm not manic like before. So you lift the rug and I'll sweep the glass and we can pretend like this never happened. Love bombs after the war, even though I know they don't work anymore. Hmhmm. I'm so sorry. Love, love bomb, mm. Don't go, don't go, I need you, mhmm. Don't go, I."

"Friday, let me talk to Bree." Pietro sits forward while the others smile and a few chuckle.

"It's done."

"Bree?" He calls with a soft voice, to gain a hesitant hum in return. "Can I see you again?"

"Please." She confirms with a rasp in her voice.

He's gone without a second to waste and the speakers cut out as quite a cluster of relieved sighs pass through the room.

"This girl has me tearing up." Wanda sniffles a chuckle while wiping under her eyes and a few laugh a bit.

"Her voice is just beautiful." Pepper does the same.

"God, I love it." She sighs and most nod in agreement.

When Pietro makes it to Bree's room, he finds her curled on her side with her hands under the pillow, dazed on the wall. He brushes his hand up her shoulder and to her cheek before slowly crawling over her. He lays behind her and he pulls her closer with his arm over her waist. Her bottom lip begins to quiver at the feeling of his long awaited touch.

"I didn't mean to do it." She cries and he furrows his brows while laying his forehead to her hair.

"I know." He whispers.

She breaks into painful sobs and turns onto her back and then side to throw her arms around his neck, knocking him back a bit. He pulls her into by the waist and pushes his fingers in her hair as she struggles to breathe and he squeezes his eyes shut with tears streaming down his cheek.

He grabs her shoulder and holds her tighter as he sits up and pulls her to his lap, still curled in a ball with her head on his chest. Her hands slide down his front for her to hug his waist while he too cries hard for the exhaustion of both.

"I'm so sorry."

"It's okay." He coos while brushing her hair back.

"I just want you back." She shakes. "I don't wanna be angry anymore. It hurts so bad."

"And you've got me back." He presses his lips to her forehead. "I'm here until the end."
