Chapter 2- Mysterious

Grian Pov-

I shut my eyes tight hoping it was all a dream. "no...no" I whispered to myself starting to feel tears emerging from my watering eyes. I jolted out of my thought with a tug from my shoulder almost falling over. I looked up to see X and Ex protecting us.

Timmy grabbed my hand jolting for the back door trying to get out as fast as we could. Everything was a blur for me. Finally, we stopped running it looked like we were in the forest. Everyone was catching their breaths.

I looked at my necklace to see it turn purple. The others looked at there's turning Lime. We all looked at each other knowing that nothing good was coming any time soon. We all ran until we found a building that no one has ever seen before. We rang the doorbell and waited for someone to answer.

The door opened slowly and it was so suspenseful. "Um Hello?" the voice said with confusion. The person had white-blue-ish hair and wore some kind of lab coat. They had baby blue wings and horns too. They kind of looked like a Vex. "Wellhelloweneedyourhelpcanwestaywithyouwhatsyournamesorryforintruding!" Timmy said way too fast for none of us to understand what he just said. "Hold up! Calm done! Come in Come in!" We all rushed in following the mysterious person. "Ok! So I am Noah. I run this factory that we are in right now! Also, don't worry about explaining I know what happened..." We all stared surprised how did they already know? "So what are you? You aren't human" Bdubs said wondering. "Well... I am an Ember" We all looked at each other confused. "An Ember?" I said. "Well, Ember is half Vex and Half Crystal Demon!" We all looked amazed at what an Ember was. I heard them giggle a bit. "Are you a girl?" I heard a voice say next to me. "Hey! Timmy doesn't be rude!" Martyn said with some anger. Noah started to giggle and then said "I like to go by He/they or Him/Them! Also don't worry that wasn't rude". 

~Time Pass~

Pov Noah

Everyone was asleep now. I opened the door slowly to make sure to not wake anyone up. Then I closed the door quietly. I looked up at the stars then shut my eyes and reopened them. I sighed to myself.  *Only if they knew... Only if* I thought to myself. I stretched my wings before taking flight into the air. I landed deep in the forest and then waited. 

"There you are, Noah!" A voice behind me said. I turned around and gave the person a big hug. They giggled "Miss me?" they said. "Of course! I haven't seen you since last week!" I said squeezing them even more. "I wish we didn't have to hide out in the forest," I said letting them go finally. "Also, I kind of have a problem... Grian, Bdubs, Jimmy, and Martyn are staying at my house. I don't think they know who I am though-" I looked up at the person with a surprised and worried look on their face. 

"Well, that is a problem there. If they tell X you are doomed but at least they don't know who you are.". "I am scared they will find out..." I said with tears starting to form in my eyes. "Noah... don't cry. Everything will be fine." they pulled me in another hug. "Shhh... Don't cry." They said hoping I would stop crying. I looked up at them with their Rosey-Red eyes that sparkled like the stars. 

"I love you Sugar" That was the nickname I called him. "I love you too Pumpkin" He gave me a nickname too. "When will I see you again?" I asked waiting for him to answer. "Tomorrow in the middle of the day" I looked up surprised he never came to see me in the middle of the day. "W-Why?" "Well, I have to already go looking for them so I will just "Find" them on accident" I looked up with a frown at how smart that sounded. He started laughing then I joined in.

~Middle of the day~

"Hey, Noah why is your house out here?" Before I could answer there was knocking at the door. I went and opened the door to see my lover standing there. I had to look up at him since he was way taller than me. "Yes?" I said playing dumb. "I wanted to know if you have seen four boys around any time soon?" Next thing you knew the four ran up to him. "Oh! Hey guys. Thanks for keeping them safe we will be on our way now!"  I waved goodbye to them.

Pov Grian

We went home in the clear. But I kept wondering who that was. When I got home I went to X's house to ask him about that. "Hey X!" He turned around and said "Yes?". "So when we were in the forest we found a strange house and someone new was living in there." X turned around with a confused look but a concerned look. "Also their name was Noah they said they were an Ember?" 

X's face turned surprised and a very concerned look. I moved out of the way and he asked "Where is their house?" I pointed east into the forest. He started to run in that direction. I was confused why was he running? 

I went back home to Ex. "Hey, Gre where did you go?" he ask when I sat next to him. "Well, I went to go tell X about that weird person in the forest. His face turned scared and it looked like he was about to cry "Ex! Are you ok?" I said in a panic. 

Pov Ex

I stud up and ran to Noah hoping I wasn't too late. When I got there I didn't see X there yet. *He must have got lost* I thought. I ran into his home and started looking for Noah. "NOAH!" I yelled hoping for a response but nothing. I froze I heard a scream come from the forest. It wasn't X it was Noah!

I ran toward the scream knowing that he was in danger. He wasn't in danger from X I knew that. X wouldn't hurt him that much for him to scream that loud. 

Pov Noah

I was picking fruits from the bush. Then I felt someone grab my arm and toss me to the ground behind them. I looked up to see... a Watcher and Listener. They were angry at me but why? I didn't do anything wrong to them, right? I didn't speak not wanting to get them angry. 

They both looked at each other and back at me. The Watcher grabbed me by the throat making it hard to breathe. Then dropping me to the ground. I looked up to see the Watcher and Listener combining m-magic! Why would they do that?! Before I knew it they threw it toward me. I felt my skin starting to melt. I scream with the pain getting worse. I started to bleed everywhere. Again they hit me with their magic making it even worse. This time I screamed as loud as I could. I looked down to see a blood pool. My hand was bloody and spilling out quickly. I looked at my chest to see a huge cut threw it. I clutched my chest and started to cry. 

Then I felt two hands on my shoulder. I looked up and the Watcher and Listener were gone. I fainted still wondering whose hands were holding me. Wait there were four hands-

Oh, and why do you think X doesn't like Noah?
