"Of course you would get a dragon." Aegon declared. "You were gone forever, you realize that right?" Aegon reminded her.
"Not forever." Aisha countered.
"MOONS!" Aegon declared dramatically. "I had to talk to Hela and Aemond..." a shudder went through him and Aisha laughed out.
"Wow your wife and brother. What a travesty." Aisha agreed.
"See you get it." Aegon told her. "Aquarius." Aegon commanded trying to get her and Sunfyre to bond. "Come on girl!" Aegon begged.
"She doesnt get along with Vhagar either." Aisha informed him.
Aegon's face scrunched up. There was an unspoken rule that they avoided all topics involving their spouses when it was just them. It was a deadly little rule that made them feel like they would fuck up friendship again. They hadnt spoken of that day.
That mistake they made. Aisha glanced over at him as she drew out the water in little bubbles, Aquarius followed them snapping at the water before stopping in front of Aisha. Aquarius bowed her head before Aisha and aisha leaned forward touching her forehead to Aquarius's.
"You would think you knew each other for years." Aegon remarked. "The way you to two just-" He snapped his fingers. "Click." Aisha smiled back at him.
"I think she knows, we are one in the same." Aisha told him.
"Like us.' Aegon offered leaning in. But Aisha leaned back.
"That can't ever happen again." Aisha told him. "Never." She whispered.
"Why not?" Aegon countered.
"Because you are not my husband. I am not your wife." Aisha whisper shouted back. "Aegon..." she said through a desperate breath. "I love you. i will always love you but what happened..." Aisha shook her head. "No one can know. If you care about me like you say you do-"
"I love you. Since that first night we met, you were this constant in my life, my best friend and then I saw a future for us, I saw us growing old with lots of children and having amazing sex every day, all day," Aisha laughed out. "I imagined us riding dragons together, racing them through the sky. I pictured loving you and only you for the rest of my life."
"I saw all that to." Aisha admitted. "But that doesnt mean that we can't still ride dragons together, raise our children side by side, grow old together."
"Are you pregnant?" Aegon asked.
"No. But one day." Aisha offered. She was both glad and sad that she wasnt because if she was pregnant now, she wouldnt know who's it was. "Just because things are not how we planned or what we wanted, doesnt mean that we can't still be the best of friends."
"Fuck friendship." Aegon shouted. "I love you."
"Aisha?" She snapped her head around to see Alicent staring back at them. "Aegon... go to your chambers." Aegon grumbled leaning back in the sand. "AEGON." ALicent hissed.
"Think about it. Think about us." Aegon whispered his lips against her ear. "I will never stop loving you." Aegon told her kissing her cheek as he got up.
"Aisha... a word." Alicent said stiffly. Aisha nodded getting up.
"Go on Aquarius, I will see you later." Aisha said pointing to the waters. Aquarius grumbled slinking back into the water. "Hello Your grace."
"I need you and Aegon to keep your distance." Alicent told her. "I know you two are friends but he spends more time with you than his own wife and I think if I asked Aemond he would say the same."
