The Door Incident

This was quite a while ago, but it was that terrifying it's stuck in the back of my mind...

So it was the end of a busy school day, it had came to the time where drama club had ended at 4:15. Me and my friends were "walking" down the corridor. Now you may wonder why I have put walking in apostrophes, well technically me and my friend weren't exactly walking. You may have heard about a hilarious comedian, she is called Miranda Hart. She had a sitcom on BBC (it's finished now :'(), anyway on some episodes she would make a joke about galloping. I bet you know what is coming. So we're galloping, all fun and games until... the automatic door. It was getting closer and closer. my feet were pounding the floor, oh shit I was going too fast. SLAM. I'm in the door, I got stuck in the remaining space from where it was closing. I managed to get out of its jaws. Oh no, I had literally BROKE the door. The once automatic door was now at a standstill. Then I turned to see that my friends were pointing at something... a camera. So we walk of, I was trembling at my impending doom. I hadn't realised that the worst was yet to come...

It was the next day and it was the end of registration, I was waiting outside science. My friends came up to me with some "news". They told me that a message had been sent saying " to the person that broke the automatic door, come to see me at lunch" I was shitting myself. Now we should all know by now that I am a wimp, I was that scared I started crying. I think my friends felt bad and told me that they had pranked me, they had came up with the plan in registration.

The door got fixed, I cried in science, made multiple people feel bad. A job well done (no worst day ever)

Moral of the story: don't gallop down corridors, you look like a twat and may get stuck between doors and break them. Also don't trust friends, most likely they are lying about the broken door.

Thank you
