days later
THE TITANS HAD COME TO LEARN THAT they weren't invincible. No matter how many superpowers they had, they were still mortals with weaknesses. They were simply humans who could die.
Paige carefully knocked on the door before opening it. "You ready?" she asked Dick, who had been staring at the mirror in front of him.
He looked at his own reflection wondering what he could've done better. Wondering how he could've prevented such a tragedy. At the end of the day, there was nothing he could've done to change what had happened.
His sad gaze shifted over to her as he nodded, following her out of the room. The two of them walked silently towards the elevator followed by the rest of the Titans. They all shared the same heavy emotions.
After Cadmus' plan had been stopped by the Titans they all felt relieved to be together again. The public thanked them as they stepped out of their hiding spots once the threat was gone. Dawn had gone over to give a girl her doll that she had lost during the catastrophe.
A large beam had begun to fall, catching Dawn's attention. She tried to clear the people out of the way before it fell but it was falling too fast and there were too many people. Donna Troy had put herself in harms way to save Dawn, as well as the rest of the people.
The brave and courageous woman had died in the process. The beam was electrically charged and eventually the shocks became too much for her body to handle.
Her body was taken back to Themyscira. Rachel had gone along to see if she could try to bring the woman back to life and to learn more about her evolving powers.
Hank, Conner, Kory, Dawn, Gar, Rose, Dick, and Paige stood idly by as they watched the plane take off. "Is that..." Paige began, noticing the boy who had been sat on a motorcycle, watching from a distance.
"Jason," Dick said also looking over at him. They watched as he sped off leaving one last memory of himself.

"Dick?" Paige asked, catching his attention once the team returned to the tower. "Can I talk to you for a sec?"
Furrowing his eyebrows, he nodded, following the woman towards her room and away from watchful eyes. He noticed her anxiousness as he carefully closed the door behind him. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing's wrong—"
"You're pacing and picking at your nails," he acknowledged.
Taking a deep breath, she came clean, "I think...I think I need to leave San Francisco for a bit. Leave the Tower."
Dick's face dropped as his confusion now appeared.
"Cadmus went in and fucked up something in my brain. Now I just feel angry all the time. And they did stuff to my powers and I don't know what to do anymore. I just need time. You know, to figure everything out," the woman explained. Paige stood there silently as she waited for him to respond. The silence killed her as each second went by that she wasn't aware of what he was feeling. "Please say something."
"I think there's nothing left for me to say," he began, "I know you've already put a lot of thought into this so I'm not gonna try to change your mind. If you feel like it's what's best, all I can do is stay here and wait for you to come back."
A small, thankful grin appeared on her face as she gently wrapped her arms around the back of his neck, feeling his arms wrap around her waist. A couple of tears managed to escape from her eyes. She didn't know if they were tears of sadness or happiness in that moment.
"I'll miss you."
"Don't miss me too much, lover boy."
"So, I'm lover boy now?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I mean which would you prefer? Lover boy or asshole? Your choice." The man let out a small chuckle before lowering his gaze down to her lips and back up to her eyes.
The space between them went from inches to centimeters until there was nothing left. Her hand moved up to the nape of his neck, bringing him in, while his hands found themselves moving down to her hips, bringing her closer.
Her heart beat loudly in her ears as his hands ran down the side of her body, feeling every curve as they moved lower and lower. She played with his hair, tugging at the ends as he deepened the kiss.
Each heart beat grew faster as her brain was clouded with thoughts of him. His lips slowly trailed down the side of her neck towards her collarbone where he would be sure to leave a mark. He brought his lips back to hers before they both broke away, their foreheads resting on each other's. The small moment didn't last long before they both jumped right back in.
Carefully, he brought his hands down to the end of her shirt, rolling it off and over her head. Their lips connected again, not wanting to break away for longer than a second. Her hands found the buttons of his shirt, undoing each plastic link before letting the clothing fall past his shoulders.
The two moved closer to the top of the bed before Paige suddenly felt her body flip over, her back sinking into the mattress below. He brought her arms above her head, holding them together with one hand as he held himself up above her with the other.
Her breath hitched in the back of her throat as his head dipped down beside her. "You know I love you, right?" Dick said, his voice low and laced with nothing but lust for her. From the corner of her eye she could see the smirk on his face grow as he turned his head to look at her.
She met his gaze, bringing her lips to his before pulling away. "Then show me," she whispered as her eyes fluttered back down to his lips.
