Dream wanted to scream as he stared into the blue and brown eyes filled with shock. Out of everyone it just had to be this – this imbecilic – of a human being who the world had blessed with the capacity of all three energy sources.

Though, George had yet only proven himself capable of channeling fire and earth. But the blue color of his left eyes told Dream that water too obeyed the brunette's wishes and was most likely his main element.

The cage around his body still held him strapped tightly. But now that George obviously knew that there existed things in this world that not everyone knew about could Dream reveal some secrets of his own. One thought later and the cage broke apart and to which George's eyes widened.

"I– I'm so sorry, I thought you were going to kill me. Honestly, I didn't know why or how I was doing that." George stuttered while backing away.

A hint of guilt crept onto the back of Dream's mind. George looked completely broken, yet he couldn't ignore his deep-rooted hatred for the people the brunette stemmed from. The cruelty that they'd shown throughout history and continued to show. But he was torn. Terror would reign if the ruler got knowledge about George's unique ability. Suddenly it made sense that practically an entire army had chased the brunette.

"You were the one who caused the earth to shatter." George asked, or rather confirmed, quietly.

Dream sighed defeatedly and shook his head to confirm. It made sense why Philza had embraced the brunette with open arms. He might not know it, but the brunette would be an extremely dangerous weapon in the wrong person's hands. Especially in this state where he seemed oblivious to his own potential. Dream knew that he would need to put his personal vendetta aside and make sure not drive the brunette away. This exceeded the personal plan, a lot more were at stake. Plus, he didn't need to become best friend with George, toleration one another was enough. Dream was aware that he had a hot temper, and he might've actually killed George earlier if the brunette hadn't stopped him. That he could admit would've been to take it one step too far. Because he was at least seventy percent sure that he didn't want to kill George.

"How much do you know about your abilities?" Dream carefully asked.

George shook his head. The brunette sat down on the ground and was anxiously picking at his cuticles. "Practically nothing. I made a flower bloom once and my teacher happened to see it. He told me to never do something like that again or my life would be in great danger."

A slight surprise to hear that earth had been his first encounter with the energies, as water appeared to be his main. "Never made water act in some weird way?"

George seemed embarrassed by the question. "My first time getting in contact with flowing water was when you pushed me in. Though, I've always loved the idea of water, like the sea and rivers. At least as it's described in stories, but I've never got the chance to see it for myself." The brunette's voice was not much more than a whisper. Once again was Dream hit with a wave of guilt. But made sure to keep a neutral face.

An idea was slowly forming in his brain. "Alright, we need to confirm one last thing before I'll go into more details about everything."

Dream began walking deeper into the cave and George followed without questioning. Eventually he heard pouring water and after rounding a corner, a waterfall became visible. Despite having lived his entire life in this cave, the beauty it withheld prolonged to amaze him. George seemed to share the admiration. The blue and brown eyes sparkled, and the corners of his soft pink lips were tilting upwards just slightly. Dream couldn't help but stare at how all the brunette's features seemed to be enhanced as he fell into a state close to hypnosis when he approached the waterfall.
