An aggressive sound of metal being hit against the fence woke Dream up. Somehow he'd managed to fall asleep in the uncomfortable cell.

Six guards stood outside.

"We've been ordered to bring all of you to the coronation. If you resist in any way, we won't hesitate to end your lives." One of the guards stated monotonously.

Without further warning, all guards shortly after entered the cell. Cuffing their hands together before chaining the three prisoners together. Dream made sure to glare at everyone that happened to meet his eyes. His body protested as they were led out of the prison area and up to the surface. A sea of people was once more surrounding the plateau waiting for the ceremony to begin.

Dream, Sapnap and Bad were forced down on their knees and stationed just below the platform. Giving them a clear view of what to come. Plenty of guards were already standing around where the coronation would take place.

Dream couldn't help but wonder what George was thinking right now. According to Bad had George never wanted to be king and if some parts of George's personality had been authentic, then Dream too believed that. George never struck him as a person that found enjoyment in bossing others around. All the responsibility that came with such a title felt awful, especially considering just how torn the people were when in came to the rulers. Some would view him as the plague while others would adore George more than anything. Marriage proposals would probably rain from left to right considering how extremely attractive the brunette was.

Jealousy hit Dream like a wall of bricks. Despite his now very conflicted feelings, he still despised the idea of anyone else getting the luxury to experience so much as a glimpse of George's love.

A trumpet sounded and Dream's heart sped up like crazy. First out was the queen shortly followed by George two brothers. Ethan barely contained his hatred as he walked behind his mother. A smirk spread on Dream's face at the realization.

Lastly was George. Dream tried desperately to not be affected by his presence but failed miserably. George was dressed in all black (obviously). Simple black pants and a tight V-neck shirt with silver embroidery that portrayed vines that swirled down his arms. Although his hands were clasped behind his back in the traditional pose, Dream still saw that his fingers were decorated with plenty of rings, them also being in silver. That silver was a sign of wealth was more than obvious at this point. A simple chain hung around his neck accompanied by a flowy black cloak that almost entirely covered the short sword attached to his belt.

His chin was positioned in a typical royal way while his face was a cold facade that spoiled nothing about his true feelings. The dark hair was neatly pushed to one side and Dream was surprised to see that a silver jewelry hung from his earlobe.

His jealousy only grew at the breathtaking sight. Conflicted emotions fought for dominance. The last drop was when he heard a group of girls drool over how astonishing the prince looked. Dream carefully turned his head their way and saw how their eyes spoiled exactly how the felt about George.

His mind forgot for a moment the severity of the situation as he relished in the ethereal beauty that the prince radiated. He recalled how the dainty hands had trailed over his body. The hunger and passion that laced their every kiss.

The girls kept fawning and Dream wanted to kill them. It was pathetic that the mere sight of George got his mind going feral. Yeah, it was a complicated situation. But he'd mentally stated it before and remarked it again; Sharing George with anyone wasn't ever up for debate.

If George belonged to anyone, then it was Dream and him only.

But when the queen began speaking, Dream was thrown back to reality.

"As a result of unexpected events we've been gathered here today to crown the new king. Our eldest son has returned after a horrific kidnapping-experience led by no others than the three people chained in front of us today."

Twisting the story, how original.

That Dream, Sapnap and Bad were pinned as the bad guys was fully expected. Dream saw how George's jaw clenched after the statement.

George slowly approached his mom's side. The brunette's gaze flew over the crowd. Their eyes met for a millisecond and Dream convinced himself that he saw a hint of remorse.

George's tone was calm and way too formal as he spoke. "Life is a fragile thing. To foretell the future is impossible. Therefore, it's important to always expect changes. After all, the only constant thing in life is change."

George's speech extremely vague yet held a lot of untold promises, compared to Ethan's that was way more concrete and straight forward.

A pedestal showcased the metal crown. Its simplicity was beautiful but as Dream distinguished its details, it quickly went from beautiful to repulsive. The metal thorns gave a cold and harsh impression. Though considering who and how the kingdom was ruled, its unfriendly look seemed rather fitting.

George went down on one knee with his hands resting on the sword handle. He bowed his head while his mom went to the podium and picked up the crown. With slow steps she approached her son.

"I hereby proclaim you, George Henry Davidson, as the new ruler. May you rule in fairness and allow the kingdom to reach its fullest potential." Her words held no warmth and that she was displeased with situation was more obvious.

Carefully she placed the delicate crown on the dark head. George rose seconds later and w¨entb to face the crowd.

The mismatching eyes shone, and Dream was almost convinced that he was secretly a God wandering along Earth.

"May the future be fruitful." Was George's last word that he finished with a bow.
