The revelation that most of the horrible people from the kingdom were colorblind was unexpected. Yet it didn't even come close to how unexpected it was that George asked him to describe a sunset.

So far, he had been pretty harsh on the guy. Hell, he nearly killed him. Yet here they were, admiring a sunset. Dream tried to find the right way to encapsulate the sun in its current state.

It proved itself to be more difficult than anticipated.

George's eyes were glued on the horizon. Dream stole a few glances of the brunette mesmerizing complexion in the warm light. The orange light in combination with the fresh breeze from the ocean made the dark locks look like molten chocolate and his blue eye seemed almost green. Everything about his appearance was eye catching. The guy was textbook definition of pretty.

Once more did Dream catch himself transfixed by the beauty of the person who stemmed from the people he'd sworn to hate for the rest of his life after what they'd done to his sister. He tried to suppress his feelings, but the more he tried the more he began fearing the truth. It hadn't been long, but the feelings had grown stronger in an alarming pace.

The last drop was when he found his eyes darting down to the soft, half parted lips. He needed to break spell and with tremendous amount of effort he successfully switched his focus to the sunset. His thoughts returned to the quest of trying to figure out how one might explain a sunset.

He rubbed his chin. "So, is it just black and white for you?"

George shook his head. "No, I can see some colors like blue and yellow. But from my understanding it looks rather bleak compared to how you see it."

"Alright." Dream said and began chewing on his bottom lip.

"Okay, this might suck but I'll give it a try." Dream glanced at the brunette and saw how his eyes lit up with excitement.

"Imagine that yellow light but it's warmer. The colors look the way a hot bath or a hug from someone you loves feels. It's also calming, like when you're really cold and sit down by a fire or snuggle down in a pile of soft blanket. It's magnificent yet saddening at the same time as it symbolizes an end." Dream felt ridiculous but George seemed completely mesmerized. His heart leaped as the brunette broke out in a smile. Dream was convinced that the brunette must've been a fallen angel or something. No ordinary human had the capacity to look this breathtaking without even trying. The sun certainly didn't mitigate that observation either.

"Sunsets also tends to make everything it touched to appear even more beautiful." Dream said with a low voice. George finally broke away from admiring the view at met Dream's eyes. Before he knew it, he felt George's arms wrap around him. He nearly lost his balance at the sudden impact. It took a little while before he dared to hug the brunette back but as he did, he knew that he'd never experienced a hug that awoke such strong emotions as this one.

But it didn't last nearly half as long as Dream would've wanted. He had to stop himself from frowning at the loss of contact. However, confusion shot through his body went he saw the terror in George's face.

"Oh god, I'm so sorry. I just– I've just always wanted someone to tell me how a sunset really looks. Geez, I'm so utterly sorry I acted on impulse." The brunette kept rambling, making less and less sense.

"George, it's fine. I– what exactly are you apologizing for?" Dream asked confusedly.

The blue and brown eyes were wide with fear. It almost seemed like the brunette was about to cry or have a panic attack – maybe even both. "I know you're not supposed to hug others. Gash I'm so stupid." George buried his face in his hands. Dream watched in utter confusion, trying to process what was so wrong with hug.
