Not long after the ceremony, Dream, Sapnap and Bad found themselves back in the cell. Dream and Sapnap were eagerly discussing potential ways to break free and kidnap the sand-haired prince.

Bad listened passively but made no remarks. Well at least until Sapnap got the brilliant idea to try and break the chains with the help of heat and strength. After 10 minutes of failed attempts, Bad finally interjected and scolded them for their short-minded thinking and inability to wait.

"Wait for what exactly? Our bodies to rot away?" Sapnap sneered.

Bad rolled his eyes and chose not to answer.

A loud bang rang through the prisoner cells. Two distant voices was heard from across the hallway, intensely discussing something.

Dream sat with his arms resting on his knees and mindlessly drew patterns on the dusty floor.

Not caring much about who the voices belonged to. But when two familiar faces appeared on the other side of the fence, his heart began pacing.

The first one was the informant named Skeppy that worked undercover as a guard at the castle. Dream and Sapnap had met him multiple times before. Skeppy had tanned skin, dark eyes and equally dark, messy hair. Dream's eyes darted between Skeppy and Bad. They definitely shared some sort of connection. Suddenly it made sense who Skeppy so often referred to as his 'source'. Sure, guards could get ahold of information on their own, but it made sense that Bad, who'd worked closer with the royal family, stood for most of the information.

The second person was a lot more familiar and awoke both relief and hatred. George's eyes trailed over the cell, its lock mechanism and eventually its inmates. Their gaze met for a brief second, but the brunette quickly looked away.

"Skeppy!" Bad hissed happily.

"Bad! Thank God you're okay. I finally got ahold of the king." He cheered with a proud look.

The title tasted bitter to Dream. He glanced at George who seemed just as uncomfortable with the title.

Bad's face lit up as his attention drifted to George. "I'm so glad you're alive, sir!" He exclaimed. George groaned but eventually returned the fond smile.

"Bad... I've corrected you for 25 years, no need for the formality." George spoke gently.

Dream tried his hardest to not let his eyes land on the brunette but was unsuccessful. George wore the same elegant clothes from the coronation along with the crown. His blue and brown eyes were full of fondness as they focused on Bad. It made him a lot prettier than the neutral expression during the ceremony. Seeing George like this almost got Dream feeling like a fool for not catching on the truth earlier.

"True, sir, but it's a force of habit nowadays." Bad answered politely. Making George roll his eyes.

"Sorry to interrupt your wholesome moment, but what the hell do you two want – especially you." Sapnap abruptly interrupted. His fury was hardly concealed, and its main target was clear.

George clenched his jaw before nodding at Skeppy who detached the keys from his belt and the cell door flung open a moment later.

Three sets of guards' attires were dropped on the floor. "We're breaking you guys out." Skeppy proclaimed while walking over to Bad and loosening his chains.

George made his way over to Dream. Though he kept his head low to avoid eye contact. Dream glared that brunette while he unlocked his chains. Yet, when the soft hands clasped around his wrist, Dream couldn't deny the fire under his skin. George practically sprinted back when Dream was free, clearly aware of Dream's current mixed feelings regarding him.
