Hours turned to days and days soon turned into weeks. George and Dream kept practicing every day. The hostility had faded and the two had gotten quite close. Dream explained that he and his sister were born in the kingdom but once he found out about his connection to earth, he had no other choice than to leave his family behind. Though his sister had refused to leave his side and together they found the cave and was warmly introduced to the rest.

It soon became clear that Dream's story seemed to be the blueprint as most people shared a similar experience. Sapnap's story was no different. After the finding that fire too obeyed George, he had been offered to practice that specific energy source with the ravenette. George had doubted the ravenette capability to teach in the beginning. His temper seemed to be the thing in control from time to time. However, it worked out a lot better than expected. But despite Sapnap's guidance, fire turned out to be the trickiest element to master. Contrary to George, Sapnap wore his heart on his sleeve, especially anger. Together they speculated that it could be George inability to express himself that somehow caused the difficulties.

Earth was easier, but none of the other two energy sources compared to water. Never in his life had he felt more alive as the times where he got to be near water. One thought was all it took to split the ocean in half.

After consulting with Philza, they decided to keep his abilities sort of secret. He feared that publishing it too much could cause rumors that eventually reached the kingdom.

So, the only ones who knew, besides Dream, Sapnap and Philza, were Karl, Quackity and Wilbur. The library that George had been told about the first night he got there apparently withheld information regarding their current situation. Someone somewhere had predicted George's existence, which he thought was kind of creepy. No one knew the library better than Wilbur, so it'd made sense to tell the brunette too. Wilbur was ecstatic when George told him, or rather showed him. After that had the two of them spent quite some time in the hidden library. Wilbur explained that the change of eye color was apparently visible proof of George's newfound connection to a higher power: The intensely blue one resembled his link to the energies and his normal one proved that he still held a correlation to the human world.

Although Wilbur was more than willing to share most things concerning George's destiny, he straight up refused to even hint about his ending.

George adored the place. It contained every book imaginable. Visiting the library was something he always looked forward to. Yet, he couldn't completely push away the mellow feeling the place awoke as it reminded him of his teacher. He knew that Bad would've loved the place. Lately, there'd been a lot of information from their spy inside the kingdom and every time George heard something new it reminded him of Bad.

Their mission got closer. Coronation too. Official information was that Ethan would become the new ruler as the eldest son had 'unfortunately' passed away. It constantly ate at his conscious to know that he carried a rather big secret, one that would change a lot of things – for better or for worse. According to the inside-man, the atmosphere in the kingdom was tense. The crown prince had made an appearance and declared a few changes once he'd taken over. One of which was to expand their borders and which area his brother was referring to was obvious.

George was currently down at the fighting area. Him and Dream had concluded that weapon training was on the lower end of priorities – which was a nice way of saying that George's ability to handle weapons was terrible. They mainly focused on earth and water channeling; however Dream didn't completely let him off the hook.

"Lift your elbows higher." Dream instructed for the hundred time.

George sighed but did as told. Dream eyed his stance for a moment before swiftly approaching and began aiming punches. George quickly shielded his head with his leather covered underarms. Being both shorter and less physically fit sure impacted his ability to withstand close combat for longer periods of time. Once or twice he tried to hit back but ultimately returned to dodging. His only advantage was his speed which he'd been told to make the most out of.
