When they arrived in the Main World they ended up in the middle of admin territory, as in the place that hates watchers the most and they were still in watcher form, not that it would matter too much since the alarms would have gone off anyway, the style of alarm was one that checked code. The watchers didn't have a chance to say anything before more admins came with their swords pointed at them and moved them off to a magical cell, when they entered Xelqua noticed that the magic of the cell was made by symbols carved into the walls, they weren't written in English or Galactic so he had no idea what they could be. He could feel the decrease in his magic as the door of the cell was closed, he also got changed from his watcher form into his player form.
Astaria still seemed to be in her watcher form, so as she sat down on the ground and moved her hands along the floor he asked her, "Do you know why you are still in your watcher form?"
Astaria didn't say anything for a few seconds then replied, "You were a player before you were a watcher, I was a watcher before I was a player,"He nodded, so something about the cell made them revert back to their first forms, he could also tell that he wouldn't be able to change back. He attempted to see what he still had access to, he tried to create a simple spell in his fingertips but there was not even an inkling of purple light. So no magic whatsoever. He then tried to enter watcher vision, but he wasn't able to, when he tried it was almost as though he was ejected. He then looked at Astaria, sitting on the ground feeling her surroundings, "You're blind blind aren't you?" Grian asked
"Yes, I can't enter watcher vision so I don't know where we are or anything of the sort," she replied.
"What can you see?" Astaria asked.
"Well there isn't much to see, it's a simple room with two beds on opposite walls. There are also strange symbols marked around the upper parts of the walls, I don't recognise them but I assume they are the reason why we can't use any magic. The door is iron bars I believe and there are no windows," Grian replied.
"Can you see where the symbols start?" Astaria asked.
"Yes, on the wall to our left," Grian replied, not sure where she was going with this.
"Can you describe them to me? It will help me figure out exactly what magic is at play here," she asked.
"Sure," Grian said as he looked up at the symbols again.
"The first one sort of looks like headphones," he started, "The next one is a triangle with a line through it,"
Grian looked back at Astaria who now had a smile on her face, "The symbols you see, they are the written version of enderian. If you keep describing them I might be able to counteract them and get our magic back,"
Grian nodded, then remembered that she wouldn't actually be able to tell and replied, "Okay. The next one is like a small mountain with no bottom, then the headphone one again..."He continued on until Astaria got what the whole statement was, "☊⏃⋏☊⟒⌰ ⏃⌰⌰ ⍙⏃⏁☊⊑⟒⍀ ⏃⏚⟟⌰⟟⏁⟟⟒⌇ ☊⍜⎅⟒ ⏃⎅⟊⏃☊⟒⋏⏁," she said.
Grian asked, "Is that how you pronounce what is on the walls?"
"Yes and I should hopefully be able to counteract it," Astaria said as she pulled up her admin screen.
Grian was surprised that she was still able to use it, he assumed that something with her watcher vision made it so she could see it but now having a closer look at her admin screen she realised that instead, it created small raised areas that she was able to feel. She clicked a button near the bottom of the keyboard that changed the keyboard from English to Galactic. She typed in: ᓵ𝙹↸ᒷ ᓵ⍑ᔑリ⊣ᒷ↸ ᒲᔑ⊣╎ᓵ ᔑꖎꖎ𝙹∴ᔑリᓵᒷ ∴ᔑℸ ̣ ᓵ⍑ᒷ∷ ̇/ᒷꖎᑑ⚍ᔑ ᔑリ↸ ∴ᔑℸ ̣ ᓵ⍑ᒷ∷ ᔑᓭℸ ̣ ᔑ∷╎ᔑ. He felt the magic come rushing back into him and he was tempted to use some straight away, until Astaria said, "Don't use your magic yet, we want them to trust us. It's the only way we would be able to get out of here without any casualties,"
"How did the message on the wall relate to the code?" Grian asked Astaria.
"It helped me figure out what exactly to search for in the code, so I didn't need to check every line. It may be engraved in enderian but it's obvious they had a translated version written somewhere that they used for the code instead," Astaria replied.
"So it wasn't magic?" He really thought it was some sort of magic.
"No it wasn't but I can see why you thought that,"
"So what's your plan?"
"We need to try and convince the admins that we aren't their enemies and that we only want to pass through," Astaria replied.
"How do we do that? We don't know when they are going to be back," Grian replied.
Astaria just smiled and nodded towards the door, a few seconds later an admin came through, it wasn't one he knew the name of but his face was familiar so Grian must have seen him at the Main World at one point. "Hands," The admin said.
Both of the watchers raised their hands and power-dampening cuffs, with the same inscription as the walls, were placed on them, luckily it seemed that whatever Astaria did to the code made it so it didn't affect them. They were paraded past a lot of admins, most of them looking on in fear as the watchers were brought to the large tent near the centre of the camp. As they enter they look up at the stand at the front, sitting there were six admins, all with familiar faces. They were the admin members of the council. Lysabel sat in the middle, the only thing different was that her hair was shorter, to her left was Cirrus who looked almost the exact same. He just seemed to be missing part of his spirit, on Cirrus left was Tory who looked the same. On Lysabel's right was Via, it was weird seeing her without Blaze and even weirder realising that she had no idea she had a twin. She also had dyed her hair by the looks of it, not surprising that this version wouldn't want her hair the same colour as the enemies. On Via's right was Hayden, who again looked the same as before, and on his left was Erin who also wasn't different. It made Grian feel so awkward having people who were his friends have no idea who he was, and that they were probably going to try and kill him.
