The three watchers flew out of the medical wing's window and out to the ground in front, where Lysabel and Cirrus had already teleported to. They could see up above that there were six watchers in the air, all wielding large swords in one hand and the start of an offensive spell in the other. Using watcher vision the watchers were able to see that there were six admins along the streets of the Main World as well, they had equally as large swords but since they didn't use magic they all held a shield in their other hand instead. They were able to also see where their fellow council members were, they hadn't quite engaged in the fight yet but they were about to, "Lysabel, Cirrus the others are over by Zirix Park," Neferus told the two admins, who nodded and headed off to help the admin side of the council with the attackers.
The three watchers then took off into the air to join their other council members, Xelqua specifically flew up next to Gryff since he wanted to ask him something. "Do you think the High Leader will show up?" he asked.
"I don't know, we haven't heard anything from her since everything went back to normal, but we know that she's alive," he replied and they got closer to the attackers in the sky.Gryff drew out his sword ready, he then called out, "These are the watcher leaders from 600 and 700 years ago, be careful they will have stronger magic,"
Gryff had read up on the previous leaders from both sides, he recognised Generals Franklin, Hycathin and Zarra who were the leaders 700 years ago as well as Generals Kori, Polix and Desmond from 600 years ago. He was getting more and more worried since he knew that their magic would be stronger than everyone else's which is why he warned his fellow council members. Luckily the council members were quite skilled with their blades away but if they got to a point in a fight where their magic became useless against the attackers it would become much harder for them to even hold them off for a while. Gryff knew that they hadn't even really defeated the previous attackers by themselves. The first they did, the second time the High Leader froze everyone, but now she was nowhere to be seen, and the third time it was the rest of the council plus whoever the white-haired watcher was versus five watchers.
Gryff went to face Franklin since he was recorded as the most powerful amongst the watchers in front of them, Zyrex took Zarra but he didn't know her power level. Blaze faced Kori, but he didn't know their power level either. Neferus and Kelin turned towards Desmond and Polix respectively which left Xelqua facing off with Hycathin. Xelqua was even more worried about this fight than he was with most since it was not that long since they left the alternate reality. The others had only really joined for the final fight and did a few other things before that but he was still tired from all the fighting, flying and magic that he had to do. He had gotten more of his energy back during the time when the code switched back to how it used to be but it wasn't enough to get him back up to his full strength. He assumed that for the others the time in between was enough for them to recharge so he guessed that the only other person who would probably be more tired than him would be Astaria, who was still back at the medical wing with Dyneris. He also knew that she would fight if they needed her to, which they probably would but he would still try his best to send the watcher he was facing back to the afterlife.
Xelqua waited in the air for Hycathin to attack first but he wasn't moving, instead, they just continued circling each other in the air. It was a while before an attack came and Xelqua only did it because he knew that if they continued to just circle around each other Xelqua would be the one who would get tired first. So he sent a fireball which was easily deflected by Hycathin. He then counterattacked with a larger fireball that came at him faster as well. Xelqua cast a shield just in time to stop the fireball from doing any real damage. Hycathin then sent another that when it hit Xelqua's shield sent off a cloud of smoke that lasted for a few seconds. When the smoke disappeared Hycathin was no longer a few metres away and instead he had his sword ready to slash Xelqua from the top. Xelqua quickly flew back to avoid the sword, it did slightly nick him but he was too focused to realise. Hycathin then started fighting up close with his sword while Xelqua lifted his blade up to meet the attacks. They started exchanging blows, Xelqua doing more defence as Hycathin aggressively attacked.
That's when Xelqua noticed something about the way that Hycathin was holding his sword, his grip not as strong as what the other watchers he had fought had and what he had learnt. He assumed that it was sometime after this watcher had learnt was when they realised that the way that they hold their swords now was better. This also meant that if he could attack at the right angle and with the right pressure on the right part of his opponent's blade he could knock it out of their hand, so that was what he was trying to do. He knew that he would have to aim just higher than the middle part of the blade with a decently hard blow, but not the hardest he could because that would cause some recoil to happen. He knew that he would only get one chance to do it before the watcher would find a way around it, so as he flew up from just below his opponent's blade, aiming for just above the middle he applied the right amount of pressure and sent the blade flying off onto a building further down.
Xelqua, still holding onto his blade, was prepared for taking an offensive move when a spell was sent towards his blade, but instead of hitting it, it absorbed into the blade it suddenly became so heavy that Xelqua had to drop it. He had never seen a spell like that before, which made him realise how much trouble he was in.
