One year Later
"Mom we're on the way already."
"I'm just making sure Nicolo. Where's Asher?" Nicolo's mom asks. Nakaloud speaker ito sa kotse nang binata.
"Andito po ako tita."
"Good. Pakisabi diyan sa nobyo mo na mag ingat sa pagdadrive ha. Ano palang gusto mong kainin iha?"
"Kahit ano po tita. Ok lang po kahit ano." Nakangiti niyang sabi.
"Ok. Well I'll see you in a few hours then. Bye." Sabi nito bago nawala sa linya.
"My family surely loves you." Nicolo said bago siya sinulyapan saglit at ibinalik agad ang tingin sa kalsada.
"Family mo lang?" Tanong niya bago mas tumagilid ng upo para matitigan ito.
"You know damn well that I love you love." He said na ikinangiti niya lalo.
Its been a good eleven months since her and Nicolo decided to make their pretend relationship real. And now they're going back to Ilocos to spend their Christmas with Nicolo's family just like last year.
They decided to take it slow on their relationship para lang makasigurado na what they feel is real and not part of Christmas excitement. Nicolo took her out on dates, minsan ay hatid sundo din siya nito sa trabaho. Pag nasa bahay naman siya nito ay pinagluluto siya ng pagkain at siya naman ang nagluluto para dito kung nasa apartment niya ito.
In short, those first few months together became their get to know each other while being inside a relationship.
May mga araw na nag aaway sila. Mga araw na lamang ang pagseselos niya lalo na pag may kameeting itong babae. But Nicolo assures her na kontento ito sa kanya. Na siya lang ay sapat na.
Ito pa nga mismo ang nagpost sa social media nito nang about sa kanya. Ni hindi nga niya alam na May Facebook, twitter at Instagram ito kung di pa siya sinabihan nang kapatid nito.
Hindi narin nila kinorek ang nalalaman nang pamilya ni Nicolo. That pretending lies is for the both of them to keep.
And in a matter of three months of being in a relationship. Nicolo invited her to have a dinner date in an open field with a driveway cinema. And in that night she first says I love you to her. Yes naunang mag I love you si Nicolo sa kanilang dalawa. Dahil kahit mahal niya ang binata ay hindi niya iyon sinabi dito dahil nahihiya siya.
And from that day, their relationship became a lot more stronger. Everything works out together. A smooth sailing relationship kumbaga.
"Na lock mo naman ang lahat ng pinto nang bahay diba?" Tanong niya sa nobyo.
"Sweetheart our house is locked don't worry. You can also check it through your phone for your peace of mind." Nicolo answered.
At isa din yan sa nabago sa kanilang dalawa. On their eight monthsary, Nicolo asks her to move in with him sa bahay nito. And she said yes. Their both adults and they already dance the devil tango at that time.
Pinatigil na din siya nito sa pagtatrabaho at ginawang home stay girlfriend or live in partner. Because as his word say, he can afford to give her a good life kaya bat pa siya hahayaang mag pagod sa pagtatrabaho?
All in all the last few months is a bliss for both of them. Hindi man perpekto ang relasyon nila pero masasabi niyang matibay ang pundasyon ng pagmamahalan nilang dalawa.
Who would have thought that what they had will become real?
Tiningnan niya ang binata at agad na binalot nang kapayapaan ang puso niya habang nakatitig dito. Ilang beses naba niyang Ipinagpasalamat na nabangga niya ang kotse nito dahil yun ang dahilan kung bakit masaya siya ngayon.
"I love you." Bulong niya dito.
Kitang kita niya ang pag ngiti ng binata bago nito inihinto sa gilid ng kalsada ang kotse bago siya hinarap.
"I love you too love. So much." He said before kissing her lips.
Yup. Agreeing to be his pretend girlfriend last year as payment sa pagkakabangga niya sa kotse nito is a decision that she will not regret.
Because she love this man. She love Nicolo Romano with all her heart.

Don't hate me lol. This is a short story. I still have the epilogue to post kaya kalma kayo.
But yeah this story is really a short story na dapat hanggang 15 chapter lang lol.
