Luke's POV
Clyde looks at me seriously. "She is alright you know and Rani. We'll both get home safe," he smiles.
I look at him and nod, "I know and thanks. It good to know they are alright. Does Sky know?"
"No, Rani went to pick her up. We decided to not tell her. We'll be back soon and we can explain what happened," Clyde says softly.
"Sounds like a plan."
"Merlin," says the Doctor who as the control panel.
Merlin goes over to him and starts to talk to him quickly but I can't hear him from up here very well.
"That's great Merlin," the Doctor shouts loudly enough for me to hear.
"Has he done it?" Jack asks coming up behind them.
Merlin and the Doctor nod both at the same time.
I smile. Maybe this is going to work. I hope it does. Merlin is powerful. I'm pretty certain he can do this.
"It now or never," I say as I rush down the stairs to join them.
"Merlin try your best. We know this is a lot of pressure but you can do this."
Merlin starts to enchant the spell over and over. I can't quite understand it, its unknown words to me. Words that may never make sense to us in this day and age but if they work I really don't care and I really don't need to understand how it actually works. Somethings are best left unknown.
At first nothing happened. Silence seemed to fill the room as Merlin finished and Jack put out his arm to steady Merlin's balance.
The Doctor made the screen let us see outside the Tardis. Everything seemed normal until one of the boss's started to hit on the door.
"Get out of there now! What the hell have you done!" he screamed.
The Doctor winked at us all and we all smiled. I think it worked.
Merlin's POV
In the Tardis and on our way to drop Luke and Clyde home and in there right time I can't help but wonder if my powers could grow even stronger. If I can push the limits while I travel with the Doctor more then I thought I ever would. I'm coming to use my magic more then I thought I may have too and the Doctor? He don't even seemed fazed anymore. Like it don't matter if I'm meddling with things that might be dangerous. I think he is really happy. Happy I'm here with him. I think I'm happy too. I don't regret my decision in joining him. I thought I may not be as happy as I was but I feel happy. Maybe even happier here with the Doctor more then I ever did with Arthur. I wish that wasn't the truth but I think maybe it is. Its the truth.
Arthur's POV
"Arthur," Gwen calls over at him at the door.
"Yes Gwen are you alright? Is Gaius ok?" I ask concerned.
"Yes we are both fine but you sire are not. You haven't come out this room in nearly two weeks," says Gwen coming in closing the door behind herself.
"My health is only my own concern. I am King. I will decide if I'm going to be alright or not," I snap with out thinking.
"You have people who love you, Arthur. Remember that before this kingdom comes tumbling down with you in it. Think before its too late. I love you, Gaius loves you. This Kingdom needs you. And you know what Arthur? Merlin loves you too. He never stopped. Magic or not. You need to see that, don't be blind. You need him, and you know it!" she says her finally word before she leaves the chamber leaving me in this silence.
"Maybe but where is Merlin now? I don't see him fighting to be in my life do I? I don't see him anywhere? Like he almost vanished. Nowhere to be seen. Gone like the wind so how can I believe he truely cares and if I do. If I forgave him which I'm not saying I do...I wouldn't be able to tell him anyway.
The Doctor's POV
I look at Merlin out the corner of my eye. Merlin sighs, "It has been really good to meet you Luke and I'll miss you both," he says as he looks at Clyde too.
"Maybe one day you can meet Sky and Rani. It be a really good exprience," smiles Luke.
"Indeed it would," Merlin grins.
Merlin gives them both a hug before he goes back inside the Tardis.
"It's been a pleasure Luke, and Clyde. I'm so sorry about Sarah Jane again. She will never be forgotten and you live on in her memory. That is what matters. I'll see you soon," I wink at them both before I get back into my Tardis and close the door.
"Where to next?" Jack asks as I walk into the middle of the Tardis.
"You are going. Where do you want to be dropped off?" I say to him.
"Aww...serious? No one more trip?" he pleads.
"No! It's been fun but no. I don't think I can do that," I say to him.
"How come? Why you being so bossy?" Jack asks me.
"I have something important to do," I say as I look over at Merlin.
"Ah alright then."
Merlin's POV
Once the Doctor dropped Jack and Paul off, they found the best place for the girl who we had helped out, well got her back to her home.
It's just the Doctor, me and River left in the Tardis. The Silence is already killing me.
"So you two married?" I asked puzzled.
"It's complicated," says the Doctor.
"Spoilers, Merlin," River winks.
"So where to next? Why you kick Jack and Paul out? You said you got something important to do? What is it?" I ask intrigued.
The Doctor looked directly at me and frowned. "You're not going to like it," he said firmly.
"Why what is it?" I ask.
"I'm taking you home, to Camelot. It's time."
I look at the Doctor and I can't help but let my heart sink. Camelot...back to Camelot. Back home...I had just got use to this. Got use to the unforgettable and he is going to drag me back there.
I really don't know what to think about that.
