Merlin's POV

"Why isn't no one telling me what happened?" asked Arthur. There was a long silence in which I just listened because I still felt too weak to open my eyes or move at all.

"We all have a past," whispered Gaius.

"This is part of his past? I never saw Merlin to be in any trouble, well or less it was something to do with me," laughs Arthur.

"Somethings are good left unsaid," added The Doctor, I grinned that made me feel a little happier.

"Merlin is my manservant, I have a right to know what happened," said Arthur, I could tell in his voice that he must have been worrying about me.

"Having a manservant don't make you friends though does it? I mean that's the way it is isn't it," sighed the Doctor. I wanted to say something because that wasn't true.

"He maybe my  manservant he is also my friend, even if that isn't meant to be like that. I don't care, he is my friend and a loyal one at that. I just want to know he is safe," says Arthur.

"He is going to be and safe. We will let you know when he is awake and feeling better," Gaius said.

I fell back to sleep after that knowing right now all I want to do is rest.

--------------------------------------------------------

When i woke up I felt a lot better in myself. Gaius sat by my bed and smiled as I opened my eyes and sat up. "How you feeling?" he asked.

"A lot better. I guess it worked?" I asked.

"Yes, very dangerous and foolish of you but it worked but the aliens are still here," Gaius said.

"Why you said the plan worked, they should have left," I say quickly.

"They will leave but they couldn't leave without thanking you," smiles Gaius.

"Really, thats a first," I laugh.

"Don't get use to it," Gaius adds.

"True, where are they then?" I ask.

"We have to go out and meet them. The last thing we need is Arthur finding out about aliens," said Gaius.

"I suppose so, I wonder if he ever know everything," I say.

"One day my boy," smiles Gaius.

"I wait for that day then," I smile. Gaius gave me something to eat and made sure I was alright to leave Camelot just for a little bit.

I went with the Doctor and Gaius said for him to look after me as I'm not hundred percent and I can even feel that I'm not.

We arrived at the ship and the doors opened as we did. We where allowed into the ship and welcomed. "Merlin, we understand we have all this to thank you for. We are grateful," they smiled.

"I'll do it again, if I knew we didn't have to fight and you can build a new home. I want to ask you a favour, look after Gi. He needs someone to love him," I tell them.

"It would be a pleasure. We would like to give you a gift, if The Doctor is ok with it that is," says the boss.

"Depends what it is," says The Doctor.

"We take that as a yes then, here you go. Keep it with you, one day you may need such an item. Merlin the greatest Warlock to ever live but even someone like you may need this some day. We wish you luck," he smiles as he puts something into my hand.

"Thank you and good luck with your new home," I smile.

"Thanks."

-----------------------------------------------------------

"What did the give you?" asked the Doctor as we got back to Gaius's chambers.

"I don't know what this is," I say as I show him.

"Ah, I see. Very clever, indeed you may need this someday," he smiles.

"Going to tell me what it is?" I ask.

"Nope."
